My wife and I loved every minute of our stay at Ca Calbet and we recommend it for anyone looking for a warm, authentic experience in Catalonia. We traveled to Margalef because it is a world-famous rock climbing destination, and we decided to treat ourselves to a week-long stay in town instead of camping or renting a cheap apartment, which...

While rock climbing in Margalef, my friend and I stayed at Ca Calbet where they served fixed breakfasts and dinners. The dinners were by no means ordinary, for they reflected a talent for fine cooking rare to come by.

Located down a narrow medieval street this rustic restaurant serves mouthwateringly good food and a selection of wines that you will not see anywhere else that titillated the taste buds. The two ladies that run this establishment are truly dedicated to producing the best dining experience combined with a great night out. Definitely recommend this eating establishment if in or...

We came here only for a dinner and it was ... delicious! Combined with ultra nice service and reasonable prices it is a place you have to visit in Margalef :) Dziekujemy! ;) P.S. if you think that it might be close because it's dark inside, just knock or call anybody inside ;)

We stayed for just under a week to climb in Margalef. We couldn't have lucked out any more. This was probably my favorite experience of our entire travels in Spain. Rosa and Espe were the most wonderful hostesses. Every day we ate the most delicious home cooked meals, which alone were most likely the best we've ever had, but after...

We were climbing at Margalef for a week, and absolutely loved staying at Ca Calbet. The food is fabulous and plentiful. The products are very fresh and from the garden, I think I never ate a salad so rich. The attention of the owners is unbeatable. We were staying in a cozy and quiet room. Everything was perfect for us....

We stayed at Ca Calbet for two nights while rock climbing in Margalef and had a wonderful experience. The room was very clean and it was very cool to stay in a ~440 year old building. We loved the local food for breakfast and dinner. We felt like we were part of a wonderful Spanish family that we never knew...

We had a great time staying with Rosa and Esperanza. We really enjoyed the amazing salads! They made us feel at home and really cook well! The accommodations are very comfortable and quaint. Margalef itself is an amazing place to climb and is a beautiful and unique town.

I've been in Ca Calbet three times with my housband and every time I've felt so good that I didn't want to leave! Rosa Mary and Esperanza are now like family for us because each time we've stayed there they have been so kind and welcoming. Ca Calbet is located in the center of the small village of Margalef, about...

Perfect place to stay if you are climbing in Margalef. Absolutely great atmosphere! Rosa and Esperanza are really sweet and funny -- they dont make you feel like a guest, but as part of their family. Every night you get excellent food, like at home. One starter, one main dish, a dessert, and some table wine. Simple dishes but really...

“They have a room which is very small. If you are tall this would be an uncomfortable room. When we came back with very little notice, they put us in this room as there were no vacancies. It was very uncomfortable for my husband so if you can book early, highly recommend it.”
