This place is amazing! The food is freshly made right out of the garden and the accommodations are fantastic! I will definitely be coming back if I am ever in NS. 😊 We stayed in a chalet and I would highly recommend them. Very spacious with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub!

This is our fourth time staying at AMHERST SHORE COUNTRY INN Chalets, on our way to and from Newfoundland, and we will certainly be back again!! The chalet is roomy, clean, well supplied with a mini kitchen's necessities and has a fabulous view of the Northumberland Strait in the distance as well as their terrific vegetable garden and lush green...

Our chateau at the Amherst Shore Country Inn was a wonderful place to stay. I could walk down to the shore or thought their gardens. Roomy, quiet, lovely. A great place to stay. The dinner and breakfast were even better. The dinner was one of the top two of our entire trip to Canada. The breakfast was the best.

The property is great and the food was out of this world. The owners pick the herbs and produce fresh from their extensive gardens. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night, but we plan to return and spend a week next time. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a chalet a minute's walk from the main lodge. There was ample sitting room, a comfortable bed, and a slightly cramped bathroom. There was a jacuzzi tub next to the bed, which worked fine but took up a lot of room. We were able to park our car right beside the chalet, which was helpful. Dinner the...

My husband and I have stayed and dined here twice and we will go back again and again! The cottages are so cute and cozy with a jacuzzi tub and large living space. The food at the inn is exquisite, like nothing I've ever tasted before. The property is very well kept and maintained. A romantic and enjoyable experience every...

This is on Route 366 right on the water. We stopped here before crossing over onto PEI the next morning. It is less than an hour to Charlottetown. Large, well maintained property. Large veggie and flower gardens. Great views of PEI and wonderful location for sunsets and sunrises. There is a small sand beach but it can be used. There...

This was an anniversary trip for a couple of nights on Nova Scotia's north shore. We booked a chalet that included 4-poster bed, kitchenette, in-room jacuzzi-style tub, flat-screen TV with decent channel lineup, wifi, a/c (which we used) and fireplace (which we didn't). Mary and Robert were wonderful hosts with a wonderfully attentive staff, who, among other things, picked up...

The dining room offers a beautiful view of the water. The meals were excellent. The service was excellent. We very much enjoyed our...

We stayed three nights in a chalet with a beautiful view of the ocean and enjoyed walking around the lovely, large property. The morning scones and four course dinner were truly excellent (the mushroom soup was particularly good). Most of all, Mary was a wonderful host, giving advice for getting around the area and going the extra mile to contact...
