We really enjoyed our stay at Bois Bourdet. We had our 6 month old baby with us and we had an extremely relaxing stay. The hosts (Xavier and Stephanie) were charming. We opted to have our meals provided on the two nights offered and we were amazed as we were presented with the most delicious 5 course meal. Would definitely...

We had a superb fortnight at Bois Bourdet. The grounds are very children friendly and safe and the pool lovely. Xavier and Stephanie and their children are delightful hosts and make everything very special. Xavier's cooking is extremely good and highly recommended, and he clearly enjoys it. He helped the children make lovely cakes too and he is simply an...

Our second visit to Bois Bourdet and our first with the new owners Xavier and Stephanie. We're very pleased that the owners have maintained the very high standards set by the pervious ones. The location is as beautiful as ever, Xavier's cooking is delicious and we felt thoroughly rejuvinated when we left. Our children loved just pottering around in the...

This was our second visit to Bois Bourdet but our first visit since in was under new ownership. Yes, we were slightly nervous that it might not live up to our expectations from our previous stay or that the meals offered might not be as good as before. However, we should not have worried as our stay was not only...

We had a wonderful week at Bois Bourdet, the accommodation was excellent and very clean. The gardens are secure so our 2 small boys could roam free and play on the toys and they loved the free range chickens and cats. A heated swimming pool (around 30 degrees) was the icing on the cake. Lots to do in the area....

We have just returned from a weeks holiday and cooking break at Bois Bourdet This property has recently been bought by a French couple after we had originally booked with the previous owners Les and Louise. We were supposed to be taking part in AGA cooking lessons and when they informed us with 2 weeks notice that they would not...

We have just returned from a marvellous holiday, which exceeded expectations and was more relaxing than we could have dreamed of with a 2 ½ and 12 week old. Les and Louise have encapsulated everything we would have designed ourselves in a holiday house (Not in any order!): Beautiful property set within acres of gardens in a tranquil setting, accommodation...

We had a fantastic time at Bois Bourdet. The location and accomodation are lovely and the owners, Les and Louise, are exceptionally hospitable. The free range chickens are pretty friendly too - our 1 year old was best friends with them by the time we left! If you're visiting with young children the facilities on offer (sand pit, playhouse etc)...

“We stayed both in the farmhouse, and in the bergerie, for one week in each. It is difficult to say which would be the better option, as both are great. They both have two bedrooms, so the baby did not have to sleep in our room which was great. The bergerie is open plan, with huge living, dining and kitchen areas. Everything is on the ground floor, including the bedrooms. The farmhouse has a separate living room, and kitchen-dining room, with the two bedrooms on the first floor.”
