We stayed here on the way from Badlands National Park to Lena, Illinois and found it just too much fun. Sherrie is a wonderful hostess and what she has made out of the old (1894) Victorian home is amazing. We stayed in the Sjherwood Forest room and were sourrounded by Robin Hood. The bed was very comfortable and the room...

Anne's house of dreams was the perfect place for our family to stay while in town for a funeral. Sherrie was so helpful accommodating our needs. The house is very warm and inviting. We have stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed.

Always wanted to try their stuffed pumpkin and I was glad I did! It was so good. Everything we ordered was really good. It is also a very nice place to spend the night or two although we didn't but just visiting the vacant rooms they had made me want to book a room. My favorite was the Sleeping Beauty...

We stopped here on our way to Mason City to the Park Inn and found it quaint and interesting. The owner was present and charming, but we couldn't brag about the cuisine. It had been recommended by relatives that we highly respect, so we expected higher quality and creativity. However, it was a great little town to stop and visit...

Who would have thought that the small town of St. Ansgar Iowa holds such a wonderful B&B. I've stayed at the Blue Belle Inn four times now and it has become my home away from home. Sherrie, the owner, has done a wonderful job in romantically decorating this Victorian style house. Each room has it's own theme, based on a...

We stay here every time we're in the area. Always a delight no matter which room. Charming home and gracious hosts. Our bed in Sherwood Forest suite had a memory foam top which makes it very comfortable.

My husband & I have stayed in a variety of B&Bs in North and South America. The Blue Belle Inn is simply one of the best. What a gem! The Inn absolutely gorgeous without feeling too old or stuffy. Perfect for anniversary retreats, girls' weekends and even small weddings! The owner is willing to go the extra mile to customize...

We stayed here as three adult sisters working on a book project. The Anne of Green Gables cottage was perfect for what we needed. I was very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the twin mattress was in the kids' bedroom. You can see parts of the original brick of the home in parts of the renovation, and the wood in...

My cousin and I grew up in cities 100 miles apart. We spent our childhood holidays together in St. Ansgar, Iowa, while visiting our grandparents who lived there. The miles between us have grown, but we still like to get together as often as we can. We decided it would be a fun way to relive our old memories by...

First, I am sorry that your experience at the Blue Belle Inn was not what you hoped it would be. I am glad that you found some part of your experience enjoyable. However, I do think it is only fair that those reading your review be told the rest of the story. This reservation was made online only a few...
