Arrived to a super friendly greeting from Elizabeth, efficient and very reasonably priced. Toilets and showers were clean and great working order and well lit. Kitchen was immaculate with large chiller space and separate freezers. Toaster, kettle and microwave all available. Grounds were immaculate, grass mowed and trimmed. Highly recommended

We brought our campervan to the nearly vacant, but beautifully maintained holiday park. Walking the adjacent historical wharf and Captain Cook's walk to the hole in the wall -- the whole gorgeous experience was a 10/10. I would definitely recommend this spot.

We camped here for 2 nights and just loved the peace and quiet . Wonderful setting just on the beach and the new owners are really putting lots of time and energy into upgrading. Will certainly return .

We arrived late at night and staff were very friendly and had us sorted in our respective cabins and powered site quickly. The park has a great central area which encourages community camping engagement and it was lovely with the crashing waves in the back drop. Our cabin looked over to the beach and wharf so a lovely outlook and... More

Stayed in a beach front cabin in May. Location was awesome right on the beach and right next to the wharf. Cabins ars great for families with 1 or 2 bedrooms and sleep 6 in beds with couch in lounge. About 5 mins drive to town. Facilities were very clean and tidy. I understand new owners are taking over so... More

The location was good, facilities were OK. We stayed at a powered site with our campervan. Nice and close to the sea, great walks to be done along the beach, wharf and over to Cooks Cove. However the camp owner told us we could not put water in our van, as they were expecting a big group next week. That... More

Amazing place to stay. The owners had everything ready to go for us after a long drive and a late arrival and they even helped us with our flat tyre we received along the way. The cabin we were given was amazing. More amenities than expected and right on the beach front with very comfortable beds. The only down fall... More

We stayed in one of the cabins. It was simple yet clean and had everything that we as a family needed. It was close to the toilet/shower blocks. Park is well laid out and there's even a children's play area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The park is located right on the beach and practically on the wharf... More

Stayed overnight in campervan; site needs better signage and a little too far from town, but right on the beach and close to historic wharf. Friendly welcome and good facilities. Great place for children and family holiday I would think.

I live in Gisborne - not far away from this camp, never stayed here before! I would highly recommend the camp cabins, where I stayed for 6 days, as comfortable, clean and well kitted out. (mine had a kitchenette + 2 bedrooms) Just a couple of minuets to the beach ( if you don't stop at the dune and gaze... More
