We’ve spent 2 great weeks in the hotel and we liked everything! The room was spacious with a nice balcony, breakfast has 6-7 options but they are really tasty, especially the one with tuna. We had only breakfasts and we didn’t regret it because there are many nice places on the island and it was interesting to try something different every time. All the staff is very friendly, helpful and always ready to help. The location is very favourable because it takes max 1 min to get to the best beach on the island. Highly recommended!

My second visit to Ukulhas. This place looks good. Very standard setting, spacious standard rooms, next to the beach. The team is too small to manage this property, need more people. Rishvan was great help. Love the waiter dude as well. Very nice guy but he is always so busy and the service is slow as as you expect. I recommend this place.

This is a really beautiful property, rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It's located steps from the beach and incredible house reef snorkeling (see photos). The reefs themselves are mostly dead but the diversity of other organisms is incredible! Sharks, rays, turtles, reef fish, mantis shrimp, etc. The spa services are great, and the restaurant Nala Bistro has good food (rare in Ukulhas). Unfortunately there were many times things weren't available on the menu and we felt very bad for the waiter who was always alone at very busy times. Lunch takes at least 45 minutes to come out. We had to ask two days in a row to have breakfast served at their own scheduled time (7am, we arrived 7:15am). There is rarely someone at the front desk, especially before 9am. The bathroom water smells like urine, not a great feeling showering in water that smells like pee. Although it did not bother us, potential guests should be aware that there are very loud birds on the island that will wake you up well before sunrise, every day. For us, those birds were in the tree right outside our window. The TV channels are all news, mostly not english. This really isn't a problem as we don't watch TV, but having movies available would be nice. We found it very odd that porn is illegal in the Maldives, yet every other channel was advertising some sort of body oil with what we can only describe as soft core porn...these were played continuously all day. If you have kids you may want to avoid turning the TV on. We would have really appreciated an introductory binder in the room to the whole island - e.g. restaurant menus and opening hours, map, etc. We feel this would be a nice touch that benefits the whole community. It is difficult to navigate open hours for most of the businesses. Overall, the staff were friendly, but shy and we did not receive the same quality of service we've experienced elsewhere in the Maldives. This place has the potential to be the perfect destination with more attention to the small details that would make guests feel more comfortable. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

We spend here three nights and we dont have nothing bad to say. Staff was very kind and helpful. Room was big, clean and peaceful. Location was next to the beach, about 30 sec by walk. Breakfast was good and the waiter in the restaurant was lovely. Everything at this place works well and was worth of every penny.
