The hotel is excellent, very welcoming and the staff are very helpful and pleasant. However, the restaurant service level and menu left a lot to be desired e.g on Sunday evening a number of items which were on the menu were not available.

The Bell Inn at Bramshaw never fails to provide the warm welcome and relaxing atmosphere that my wife and I crave when away for the weekend, a quality that other larger corporate hotels can rarely deliver. This family owned private hotel is an absolute gem. The accommodation is first rate and always clean and the staff are professional and courteous....

I stayed at the Bell Inn over the weekend and even though the weather pretty bad, the staff made us very welcome and we had a very relaxing time. The food was excellent and the atmosphere at the bar was tip top. Our room spacious and clean. I would highly recommend the Bell for anyone to stay in while in...

My husband and I attended The Bell Inn on Saturday night for a large group dinner of about 20 people. The staff had laid out a beautiful table in a private room - lots of candles creating a beautiful cosy atmosphere and a well set table. We had a long diner with many courses including amuse bouche and a surprise...

Stayed for two nights over New Year...hotel was ok, reception staff were pleasant. Room was clean and adequate. Breakfast was varied and well presented. The bar in the evening lacked atmosphere and the second evening we ventured out. The bar food we found overpriced and didn't fulfil our needs. An ok stay but wouldn't return.

We don't do Xmas! We go somewhere in the world and stay in a quality hotel and this is no exception. We had chosen our room back in February when we came for lunch, another great experience that we do often. It was no surprise that we loved it but we were amazed by the attention to detail, free water,...

Booked the entire hotel for our sons wedding and have to say that it was a superb day complemented by a super venue and exceptional service. Nothing was too much trouble for the management and staff. All our family and friends were also very complimentary of the hotel and the reception.
