A group of 8 stayed here for one night and had a very good time. Behaviour was pretty awful from some members of the party, but staff coped admirably well. Restaurant meal was excellent and the night porter kept us well supplied with drinks afterwards. I found the room clean and the bed very comfortable. In spite of being at...

Could not recommend this hotel more! It was the perfect hotel for some quality time away with the other half. Could not fault the service. The room was stunning and spacious. Well worth a stay when visiting The New Forest

such a lovely place! we stayed with our 12 week old baby and the hotel was so accommodating. The room was lovely and the bed was so comfortable, we had a three course meal from the restaurant as room service to our room, everyone was so helpful! The food was delicious we couldn't fault it at all! Would stay again.

Evening meal in the restaurant on a quiet night. Service was terrible, so, so, so slow and totally inadequate. Food arrived at different times and was nothing special. Could not get menus, could not get order to be taken, could not get food to be served, had to keep asking. Bill was miscalculated and had to be redone. Lots of...

We booked on the strength of other reviews. We arrived late afternoon and received a warm, friendly and polite welcome. Our standard double was snug and very warm, though well decorated, comfortable and well appointed (esp the small jar of jelly beans!) But we had to open the window and our room faced onto a very busy road and associated...

We visited The Bell on Sunday for a late lunch/early dinner. The entrance and layout is lovely and cosy looking. We were shown to our table and given copies of the menu. We were finally asked for our food order which we placed but had to ask if we could order drinks. We order breads for starters but had to...

Business lunch. Had the curry chicken - very tasty and memorable. Companion had the spiced pork with crispy noodles from the special menu and that looked great. We will be back and look forward to the next menu as long as they keep the curry chicken.

Whilst most hotels that deem to be pet friendly generally have a plethora of do's and don'ts that generally makes your stay far from pet friendly. The Bell Inn is the exemption. From the moment we checked in we and our four legged friend were made extremely welcome. Apart from the main restaurant, pets are welcome anywhere, they even have a...
