I have stayed many times at this property the last couple of years. The location is absolutely the reason I stay there, and the hotel is in decent shape, but it has started to show it's age. The service is Euro-style so you get decent attention, but nothing too friendly and nobody is going to bend over backwards to help....

This hotel is in the heart of Iowa City. College town with vibrant energy, and centrally located in pedestrian mall with lots of boutiques and places to eat and live musicians. What is nice is that once you park your car, you don't need to drive anywhere during your stay. Everything you need is right there. We had business meetings...

The location is great, but there are better options in IC. To start, some of the rooms are faced to an indoor swimming pools. This is a close as you get to prison architecture without a sentence. But bathrooms were renovated, but still, rooms and corridors need an use lift.

The Sheraton Hotel was comfortable and centrally located and walking distance to restaurants as well as CVS. When it is a cold place location becomes important, and this one is a winner, it is right in the middle of everything, nice restaurants all around.

Booked stay because Valet parking was listed as a feature. On arriving was told by front desk if I came back at 12am Valet would available. On arrival the man at valet station stated he didn't park cars he was Simon, I don't know what Simon is, but it does not involve helping people. Front desk stated she didn't park...

Best location in town. Close to all the bars and restaurants downtown. Rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were a little dated and clean. Ask for extra towels as they have bare minimum in the room. Room was quiet and a pretty good view of the Ped Mall.

This hotel is a piece of crap. It's getting worse over time and specific managers are probably responsible. My stay in a specific winter week where the temperature reached 60s during the day, the hotel got to 80 and air conditioning was not working. A piece of paper with bs is giving to you once you complain. A fan was...

I had a non-refundable reservation at the Sheraton in which I had received a confirmation and paid for. Also received a telephone call confirming my reservation one hour before I attempted to check in. When I went to check in, they had no room for us because they had overbooked and we had to drive to the next town for...

I spent one night for a business trip, the first surprise was that they don't have parking lot, there is a valet parking service but I never saw him. This is a funny hotel you must go out to reach the bar if you are in the lobby. The second surprise was that the walls was very thin so I...

The beds were very comfortable but there is no hot tub and I want that after a long day. Also, in room 412 the toilet screams when you flush! Scared the bejesus out of me! There are no refrigerators in the rooms...I hate that! The coffee is Starbucks in the room. That was awesome!
