We'd heard great things about this place so we were keen to check it out. We decided to head in on a Wednesday night as we were told they have chicken schnitzel at a good price. Walking in, people stared at us, we're not locals & we were new faces. It made us feel a bit awkward & uncomfortable. When...

We stopped there on Friday 26/2/16 for dinner. Great atmosphere, the publican and locals made us feel very welcome. The food was great, I had Chili Prawns with pasta and my fiance had Chicken Boscaiola, it was delicious and the serving size was great. Well worth stopping in. We will be back for sure. Regards Adrian and Paula.

Great snitty! My partner had a steak, all cooked well with friendly service. Little hidden secret this beauty of a pub. Will defiantly return as soon as possible when next up this way, tempted to stay the night as the beer tasted great and was super cold!!

The Hotel staff were welcoming and had no problem with us taking our dog into their beer garden. We had a lovely dinner of Surf and Turf and Garlic bread for two for ony $40.00. The Chef (lovely...

I must admit that we were very impressed that although there was a large amount of people there, we didn't have a ridiculous wait for our dinner. Overall, great venue for a...

During our stay at this lovely country hotel we enjoyed lovely meals at their restaurant open 7 days a week. Just out of Cessnock, 15 minutes from the vinyards, they even have a courtesy bus. Comfortable clean rooms, very affordable, spacious with verandah upstairs. New Owners Sandra and Noel are friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely...

Room 1 has air con. The rest do not so if it is hot make sure you get room 1. This place is located just out of Cessnock and very convienent. They do not have meals every night but there is a great free bbq in the park if you want to cook something.
