The rooms were clean and the lady at the front desk was very friendly. The only reason I didn't give this hotel 5 stars is that they do not serve breakfast. Not even any pastries or coffee. There is a small coffee pot in the room. But for the price I cant' complain. I would recommend it to others.

The hotel is friendly looking but that's where it stops. The gal at the front is accommodating if you beg but she's not happy about it. The sheets didn't fit the bed and there is no breakfast. No elevator which is fine because they rarely would need it by the way they treat you. What a horrible welcome mat to...

We stayed here for two nights for a family event. The rooms are a decent size and were quiet, but definitely basic. It was kind of clean - we found chips under the desk and the bathroom was dingy. Amenities were minimal - there was a coffee maker and hair dryer, soap in a dispenser and shampoo in packets. It...

The lady at the front desk is so rude! she is not meant to be in the service business. In case you are wondering you are an inconvenience to the owner when you stay here. It seems she would rather you were not there to 'bother her' This place will be out of business because of her attitude before you...

I think this was our fourth visit over four years. The only negative change from the first visit was the absence of any breakfast. A small cafe in town has breakfast and lunch BUT is closed on Sundays. A hint for anyone there on Sunday...the Hawarden Public Golf Course serves Sunday breakfast. Our king room was spacious and included fridge...

I used this hotel to host family and friends for my wedding. I also stayed the weekend. I was the first to check in and the young girl who helped me was great. Quick checkin and she even brought an iron and iron board to my room. The room was nice, nothing special. The biggest issue was how my family...

This motel was very clean, nice lobby with a seating area to visit with other people, comfortable beds, nice linens........BUT the staff was not friendly and really preferred watching their TV shows on the computer to greeting and assisting their guests. Huge sighs and rolled eyes do not make a guest feel like asking for help another time. No breakfast...

Recently in Hawarden for a birthday party and stayed 3 nights at Harvest Inn. Great experience and finally nice to have a "clean" place to stay when visiting. Nice waffle breakfast in morning and front desk people always very accommodating and willing to assist you with any questions. Owners live on premise so probably a reason why everything seems in...
