I visited this place in carnivals which means it was very full. The beach was very beautiful and my family really enjoyed the animals over there. It would be better if they would clean up better the bathrooms. I think if I visit in another season when its less full it would be cleaner. I find the entrance kind of...

We stopped by for lunch and a beach stroll. The$5.00 entry fee was voided because we were going to have a late lunch. We had fresh fish and a shrimp plate. The fresh right off the boat fish was cooked to perfection. The shrimp were large, spiced perfectly. The bottle of wine chosen for us was very good. As you...

If visiting Pedasi, this place is strongly recommended. Located a few minutes away from Pedasi downtown. Beware that from their entrance street towards their location, it is a dirt road, therefore consider driving carefully. Once you are in La Playita, you will notice a gentleman will charge $5 for using their commodities. Totally worth it. This is a rustic place,...

As other reviews state, Lester knight, the owner and famous retired jockey is the owner of this property. Meeting Lester is a delight. He is charming and likable. Lester offered a tour of the Oceanside rooms that are being completed now. The work is incredible. The rooms offer a deck overlooking the pacific bay Lester owns. Views are outstanding. The...

A beautiful and very exciting place. The best beach of Panama in the pacific coast, like a carpet. There are several types of animals free, like parrots, monkeys, emus, a lot of birds and butterflies and one Bambi. It is a peaceful and quiet place. It is very close to Iguana Island and you can go whale watching to Pedasi.

After reading all the wonderful reviews we decided to book Playita for 5 nights. Well, can you imagine our surprise when we entered the road to this small resort to find 15 bus loads of people. There were people everywhere. We could not even get into the grounds. There was know reservation area or anyone who spoke English to help...

Parrots in a gorgeous array of colours flying fast through the trees and alighting near the monkeys. Lester, the owner bought this property as a get-away with an incredible beach and lots of mature trees. Over time it has transformed into a small get-away place with about 8 rooms. Each building is built with excellent materials and skilled artisan workmanship....

This is a prefect place to bring children. There are shady huts beside a calm beach in a protected cove. Your older ones can rent surf boards at neighbouring Playa Venao while the little ones dabble in the shallows of La Playita. We stayed in one of the new rooms in the lodge still under construction. Pros: spacious lovely rooms...

We were steered toward La Playita by the owners of a B&B in Panama City who told us it was where they would take their grandchildren when visiting Panama. They were so right! We traveled to the Pedasi area in March 2012 with our 8 and 5 year old "animal and beach loving" children. La Playita delivered in both areas....
