We stayed in a creek front cabana that we loved. It was simple, comfortable and offered us a wonderful connection to nature. Monkeys, birds, bats, lizards, all visited us regularly. I loved the simplicity of our stay. We hiked, surfed twice a day, ate wonderfully fresh and reasonable priced foods prepared at the restaurant on site. The restaurant staff all...

What an amazing and relaxing spot. The staff and property were fantastic! I will return next year, and many to come. Highly recommend this hotel to travelers. This property is set in nature, the waterfalls on property are great to hike, and if you do so, keep climbing to the vista overlooking the beach.

Spent three days there with my family (two kids, 8 and 5 years) and enjoyed it thoroughly. Accomodation is in the midst of an reforested area, with howler monkeys climbing around just out the window. Within the area you have a good restaurant, a well equipped shared kitchen and a little shop, so there is no need to leave the...

great place to stay, their cabins are clean; if you love nature, this is the place for you. They also have houses fully furnished. The beach is great, nice sunsets and surfing. The small town of Pedasi is very close.

I stayed in the beautiful Casona with my family. The houses are set in a very nice dry tropical forest, and everything is very modern with air conditioning in the bedrooms and fully stocked kitchens. I don't know why a previous reviewer didn't think this place is "eco" enough. They are preserving a big chunk of endangered dry tropical forest...

A really nice place to stay in the wilderness. The rooms are very rustic but still very nice in the "wild style". You have to like nature and animales to like it there. You can hear monkeys in the dschungel and there is a hike to a nice waterfull where you can take a bath. The stuff is also very...

We went there with two very active kids and stayed two nights in the beautiful Villa Mango with astonishingly well equipped kitchen (6 burner stove with oven, huge fridge/freezer and anything else you need to prepare complete meals) and 3 comfortable bed rooms. The whole property of more than 100 hectares has 2 playgrounds, a river with waterfall, restaurant, horses,...

Stayed in the dorm for $11/night, which had clean sheets, storage shelves for each bed that could be locked, and 2 outlets + reading lamp for each bed. Very comfortable stay. The kitchen was large and pretty clean, with plenty of pots, pans, etc. They also have an on site mini store which is very convenient - we bought fresh...

We stay in eco-accommodations all over the world and this one was really disappointing. It really wasn't all that clear where the eco angle came from despite trekking all around the grounds and trails. The most disappointing thing about our stay was our Cabana. It was filthy and really run-down. The place obviously hadn't been dusted or properly cleaned in...

Dear Sir, Thanks for taking some time and share your experience at Eco Venao. We are sorry the your stay was under your expectations. We know the cabañas during the rainy season are not for everybody and we will take on board the cleaning of them. Our Eco angle comes from our 140 hectares reforestation project where we planted over...
