Stayed 3 nights, 18,19,20 May. On the first night my sister and I were wakened up in the early hours of the morning by a serious disturbance from the room next door. There was horrendous screaming by a female voice, loud banging and crashing sounds. The disturbance continued in the corridor. We contacted reception a number of times and eventually the police were called. It went quiet while the police were there approximately 20 minutes but shortly after they left it began again and continued until 5 am. The hotel took no further action and we got no sleep, we’re frightened to open the door. We spoke to manager next day who told she believed the police had removed a man from the room but we subsequently found out this was not the case. According to reception the couple actually left at 11 the next morning. In our view the police should have been called again when it kicked off the second time and they should have been removed from the room. The disturbance lasted approximately from 1am until 5 am. The manager Joanna did agree we should not have to pay for that night but I do feel more action should have been taken. On a positive note the staff were extremely helpful and a big shout to Megan and her colleagues in the bar and restaurant who were stars.…
We've just spent a night at the Parkland and had the most relaxing time. Rooms are huge, spa just what you need and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast worth the wee bit extra. Not the prettiest hotel from the outside but beautiful inside. Well worth a visit.
It was out first experience at Parklands. From check in to check out, all the staff were so good & friendly, the gym, pool and food was excellent. We will definitely be heading back there soon as possible
Booked this hotel for my husbands birthday surprise, managed to get the Parklands Suite booked. Arrived to the lovely lady on reception who made us feel very welcome. The Suite was ready early for us, and wow..it didn't disappoint..was absolutely beautiful. We used the spa facilities although there small, still very nice touch. We're were there on DBB, the food was lovely and very attentive staff. Honestly had a fantastic night and thank the staff very much. Only 1 slight down side is the check in for the Parklands Suite is not till 4pm which I thinks a tad late, as I said it was ready for us early.
We stayed at the hotel for three nights from Wednesday 13/04/2022 and had a really good stay with our friends. The hotel was very modern and very comfortable, all of the staff were extremely friendly, the food was excellent and there was a very wide choice of meals. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and have recommended it our friends who are likely to visit Glasgow.
