We were starting a zip line tour and had breakfast and lunch at this amazing oasis in the jungle. We had a brown bag breakfast, the restaurant is vegetarian so the sandwich was on thick hearty brown style bread with egg and cheese, tomato and a dressing, there was a banana and drinks (coffee, tea and such). From there we...

One of the best meals in CR, but not "tipicos." The seitan wrap is the best we have ever had...and we've been eating them for 10 years now...washed down by a shared milkshake. If only we left room for the chocolate cake. The chief/dining room manager has been there and does a great job...dedicated to your enjoyment. We've also hosted...

The Magma group organized us a night at this beautiful hotel, after traveling through Costa Rica and staying at various low cost hotels, this was the jewel. The lobby is old fashioned but with taste, the hotel is very beautiful, everything is painted in detail, its like someone took a paintbrush and lovingly painted every corner of this place. The...

Heading towards Arenal Volcano, we've decided to grab something to eat, so we've stopped in lands in love. We've ordered falafel, 2 hamburgers with nothing inside, salad with no onion, and a pene pasta... We got 2 hamburgers with cheese, salad with onion, and spaghetti pasta. We also got 3 cold falafel's balls. When I touched the ball, one of...

We went on a guided tour from Israel a d stayed one night at this resort. The decor is "old fashioned" in a fashionable way. The food was good. The hotel is set in wonderful surroundings. They operate tourist attractions including "Canopy" - an aerial view above the forests. If you are in a group, do NOT be tempted to buy...

We visited when just driving by and noticed the sign outside. We stopped for lunch and were pleasantly surprised with a DELICIOUS lunch! The property is lovely. Accommodations we looked at were simple, clean and spacious. For a simple accommodation at a great price you can't beat it! The love and conditions for rescued animals is wonderful. We will definitely...

We didn't stay at this resort, so I can't comment on the accommodations (although the property was well cared for and had beautiful views of lush green valleys), but we did enjoy lunch at their restaurant. I would say this was one of the best meals we have enjoyed in Costa Rica (this is our third trip here). And it...

Stopped off on our way to La Fortuna for lunch. Surrounded by gorgeous foliage, the decor of the hotel is a bit like stepping into your Grandma's living room. Despite this the food is absolutely fabulous! I highly recommend the Israeli platter and the chocolate cake.

We booked this hotel for a weekend getaway being inspired by the petfriendly and vegetarian publicity. In fact for each dog we were asked to pay $40 extra fees. The room had a weird smell and oldfashioned creepy psicodelic look. Everything was handpainted even the pillows. The common areas were dirty and had very old furniture. Service was also really...
