Plenty of trails to walk on. Offer camping or stay in the canyon inn. Beautiful views of the falls on one of their great trails. Great place to get some fresh air and connect with nature.also offer swimming at their pool and have a camping store in case you forgot something or need ice. The inn has a great gift...

Lovely day spent here at the park. There are a lot of trails to hike on. This day we hiked from the playground to Wolf Cave. Two in our party went through Wolf Cave and only got a little dirty. Be sure to take flashlights. The trail leading to the cave has some minor ups and downs but it isn't...

Indiana's first state Park, established in 1816 and dedicated in celebration of Indiana's State Centenniel. Beautiful limestone canyon and waterfall are the center piece of this lovely park. Very nice recreation shelters, seasonal swimming pool operation, nature center, hiking trails and unique cave formations. An outstanding place for tent, trailer or RV camping. Camping sites give the distinct feel of...

My daughter and I came here for a few hours on a Saturday of an IU dad's weekend. We walked throughout the grounds and noticed that there are shelters/pavilions for people to gather, grill, etc. and there also appears to be a hotel, pool, tennis courts, etc. There was a wedding the day we were there. One thing to consider...

On the plus side, the park is beautiful. You can find a trail for just about anyone, and it can be short or long with varied degrees of difficulty. It is very clean too. There is something here that any age folks can enjoy. We took a horseback ride and I was a little disappointed in it. Not enough talk...

Had an amazing time here. The trails are awesome. We walked for miles. Between the trails and the creeks I'm not sure who had the most fun, me or my golden retrievers!! The park was very clean and well kept. Can't wait to go back.

I really enjoyed this park. I didnt get to see everything. We walked over to the water fall/swimming hole. It was so beautiful. I really wish I wasnt just passing through from Texas. The trees were tall and beautiful. Everthing was so green. Theres too much shade to get too hot. The only thing I was disappointed about was the...

Had the standard BLT, it was a standard BLT. Fries OK. Tomato bisque soup OK. Reasonable prices. Everyone's food was fresh. No complaints but nothing to stand out either. Very nice setting at the park, but if you don't have a pass you have to pay to get in the park.

One of the nicest State Park in Southern Indiana. Great hiking trails, caves that are pretty easy to get to. A couple water falls, and one of the nicest restaurants and Inns. A great place for a weekend getaway or to spend a few days in the winter. You will not be disappointed.

We often visit McCormick's Creek State Park during the year. On a recent visit, over July 4th weekend, we brought along our 10 years old grandson. We stayed at Canyon Inn, had most of our meals in the Inn restaurant, and participated in several of the activities (a hike to the Fire Tower, kick-ball-ice cream making, and a nature scavenger...
