This is the 10th year we have spent 3 days at The Van Buren Hotel. As usual it was very clean and restful. The breakfast is good with a great selection. It is quiet at night and the bed was very comfortable.

Booked through a discount sight pleasantly surprised to find a clean very nice hotel. We checked in a few hours early and the gal at the front desk ran to check our room, offered reading material while we waited. The room is large, clean and super comfortable. Great location for the town too. Will stay here again.

The room was much larger than expected. I liked the layout, in comparison to most hotels we stay at, which usually just has a giant room with a bed in it. This had a little sitting area then the bathroom and then the sleeping area. The room had a mini refrigerator and microwave which isn't always offered at other hotels....

My wife and I are still talking about what a wonderful hotel this is and how glad we are we stayed here. It's clean and comfortable and well-appointed in every detail!...and that includes the professionalism and kindness of every staff member we encountered. Enjoy this one!

The hotel is very close to the flea market and the room was well maintained. The reason for the Poor rating was the check-in clerk and the breakfast attendent were very rude and unfriendly. My family and I come down every year and take turns staying at the different hotels, but we won't be back to this on.

We chose this hotel as a stopping point on our way to visit family. We had 5 people and were able to get a rollaway so we could all be in one room. It was clean and quiet. The property is well taken care off. Staff is friendly. We arrived late and the lady at the desk was very helpful...

Just returned from a nice stay in Shipshewana. I have stayed at this hotel several times prior to this trip and this was one of my better experiences. Two adults and two children staying in a two queen bed room. Priced at $127. which is less then previous times. The room was clean and air conditioning worked fine. The water...

The hotel is located about a mile from the Shipshewana Flea Market which makes it convenient. Had never stayed there before but reviews seemed okay. Booked it online which had no place on form for AAA discount. Figured it must not give one so no big deal. However when checking in there was a big sign which said must show...

Nice rooms, country setting and amenities, and convenient access to Shipshewana. Staff could be friendlier to guest requests, but still a good place to stay. Room was very clean and breakfast is the typical continental type with eggs, sausage patties, waffles, etc. Nice to watch the buggy go by. We would stay here again.
