We stayed for two nights. Perfect weekend getaway! This place is centrally located and within walking distance to everything! Room was small but very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is included in the price- typical breakfast choices (nothing fancy) but everything was good. The atmosphere and decor is shaker style- great for a bed and breakfast. We... More

This was our second stay at the Artists Colony Inn and we loved it as much this time as we did the first time. The only way to describe this place is charming. It's a lovely old building with sweetly appointed rooms, all featuring art and artists from the area. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms... More

Nice room with Queen Bed and Single Bed which was in a nook on a wooden stand. The television was very small. The room was still nice and had a balcony overlooking the city and full bathroom/bath. The toilet was in a weird spot/angle in the bathroom. The free parking and outstanding breakfast buffet for two in the room price... More

I was invited by a friend to come with her on this trip and in all fairness she rented the room. I really liked some things like the free Daily Breakfast, it was wonderful and the restaurant has the ABSOLUTE BEST Reuben sandwich. I like that they offer free parking in a town where it has little space for parking.... More

Our room was nice- comfortable except for 2 issues. 1) The light outside on the balcony that the hotel controls was on all night- and the curtains were not room darkening. Therefore, I did not sleep well at all! It felt like a bright light was shining in my eyes all night long. 2) Only one side of the bed... More

Great place to eat. group of 5. everyone received what they ordered, it was good tasting and well portioned. The menu seems a little shy; and, the dress of the employees seemed a little too casual for a more dignified place to eat. I guess it's the signs of the times.... no one seems to have much shame or dignity.

We stayed at the Artists Colony Inn for a night in Brown County in December. The colorful leaves were (unfortunately) gone from the trees, but we were very pleasantly surprised by the Christmas decorations, and even a parade, that were right outside our window. Enjoyed the hospitality at the Inn, including a cozy but spacious room and complimentary breakfast. You... More

We really enjoy this restaurant. This time was for breakfast. I went with biscuits and gravy which were filling with a taste of pepper but nothing overwhelming. The pancakes were spongy and hard to cut but tasted amazing. If you go at lunch or dinner get the sweet potato fries appetizer!

The place is quite nice with a cozy atmosphere. Close to the town center you can walk everywhere you need to go. Maybe a bit pricey for what the offer but the included breakfast will not disappoint you. Something of a warning for all of you that have allergy to dust like myself. Bring a good dose of antihistamines because... More
