The rooms are all on the ground-floor of bungalows in a 'streets' form. The atmosphere is small scale. The room interior is simple; a soberly furnished room with no windows, a simple bathroom with shower and toilet and as an extra special feature: no TV. Outdoor light comes from the doors to the balcony, serving as entrance. If you want... More

We were originally going to the other Margo Utomo but it was changed as they had had some bad reports. We did in fact go there and there was a coach party, So perhaps it had been overbooked. Anyway we arrived at the other hotel and first saw the pool and gardens so we thought we were going to have... More

Entering alongside the railsroad and a mosque, this hotel is not for light sleepers. We resided there only one night and could not take a la carte dishes in the evening as a dance and gamalang ecening was organised. Hence we paid 150 000 irp for cold tofu, white rice, cold chicken and vegetables. The dancing and gamalan were quite... More

The pool at this hotel is really great - huge and multi-depth. Also nice surroundings with palm trees etc. Also the plantation tour is really interesting and highly recommended. The rest is very average. The room was fine, but had seriously dodgy electrics. When i pulled out my phone charger it gave me a full electric shock and the staff... More

We stayed with the family here. Beautiful environment in aplantation area. Rooms are very simple, standard rooms have no AIrconditioning. In our room the AC was not working. Breakfast is very simple. The staff is kind, but needs to improve the customer orientation. No active service in the swimmingpool area, you have to walk to the restaurant to order. The... More

The folks at Margo automobile are exceptionally friendly. The massages are a steal. The bungalows are basic but spacious. Each has its own patio that overlooks a central garden. The pool is the centerpiece. The resort offers a short plantation tour that is quite interesting. Food is wee prepared and not skimpy at all. No T.V. to interfere with nature.... More

We enjoyed it very well! The pool next to river , in the jungle, is beautiful and refreshing after visiting the factory of rubber, cacao, Coffee and clove!! We visited a local market not so far from the cottages. There was a party of an indonesian company and they invited us to dance! The staff was very friendly... and one... More

The rooms are really basic. But the resort is beautiful. It is surrounded by the nature with a beautiful swimming pool. The breakfast is good, with a lot of bio-product and self made product ( such as the jams). Staff like everywhere in Indonesia are really helpful and polite.

Good hotel with a splendid garden, pool next to a wild river, ok food, good bungalows, very friendly people... It is also a good location for starting hiking tours, just for walks through a paradise, what is less nice is the main road nearby, which takes you an effort to walk to the village centre. However, it is far enough... More
