My husband and I were vacationing here for the first time. Stayed for three days at the Troll House. And we got more than we expected! The house is well thought out. Comfortable temperature maintained by air conditioning, family dishes, tiles, microwave, refrigerator. Of course, the window panes, the view of the birches, pleased. The park is large, well maintained. Lots of swings. The views are beautiful! Very pleased friendly staff, delicious breakfasts👍 Thank you very much to the whole team! I didn't want to leave you.

A week has passed since my husband and I spent an unforgettable vacation here in the best sense of the word! Due to family circumstances, I had to downsize and choose places near Roshchino. But I wanted to celebrate my husband’s birthday outside the home. We chose houses with a kitchen based on the photo (like the photographer... We came here for the first time, and were immediately struck by the space, its lake, the mountain slope, the cleanliness and well-groomed territory, a huge parking lot, but we chose a cramped house, which we sadly shared at the reception . And then a miracle happened - Maria offered us a room in a spa hotel with a kitchen, which comfortably accommodates a large red refrigerator, MVP, electric stove and even a dishwasher, there is also a living room with a sofa and a large TV, and a second floor with two bedrooms and two balcony plus daily access to the SPA area!!! ALL this at no extra charge! I still don’t believe that this happened to us) In itself it was already a great gift, but on Maria’s birthday she congratulated her husband with a bottle Everything is thought out, light, comfortable, so clean that it seems new. Special thanks to the staff - everyone is polite, friendly and ready to help. And even the construction nearby did not interfere. We had a great time at the spa, felt like kids in their sixties: played snowballs (I saw a snowmaker for the first time), took an impression shower (emotions were off the charts), swam, warmed up, took salt baths in an unusually decorated room and washed it down with fresh drinks with lemon and orange. All this is surrounded by comfort, cleanliness, music, sun (there is access to the terrace) and invisible care - creams, gels, towels, slippers and bathrobes, white and fluffy. Everywhere there is order and a pleasant smell. We were very lucky with the weather, so we walked around all the paths, walked down the slope, watched the fish in the pond, swung on a swing, listened to the stream, played table tennis, rode bicycles to Red Lake and swam. In the evening, the lights turn on throughout the entire park - beautiful and romantic. It’s impossible to describe everything! There is something to do here for both children and adults, and lovers of extreme sports and relaxing holidays. We bought a cute troll girl as a souvenir)

Hello. We had a family vacation from 05/19/2024 to 05/25/2024 in the “Golden Valley”. We decided to relax there for the first time. Unfortunately we didn't like it. The staff for the most part are not customer oriented!!! I mean the upper park. Tired, not friendly, not smiling, not professional! Hurry up and serve the “number”! An exception is the waitress from the Troll Farm restaurant and the administrator Maria from Nizhny Park (they wanted to change the Premium cottage to Nasha Dacha, but there is construction going on there, which we were immediately warned about and there is almost nowhere to walk). Let's start with the arrival date 05/19/2024. When we checked out, for some reason we were asked to pay part of it in CASH! This surprised us. But we replied that we would pay by card. Since we arrived for the first time, we were not told that restaurants and entertainment were closed! One of the restaurants, if I'm not confusing anything, opened in the lower park "Troll Farm", only from Wednesday! But to get there you need to walk 1 km 600 meters, grandfather and grandmother were with us. Aged people. I was working that day at Shishka. Barbecue. It was like this.... We came in for dinner on the first evening.... We came in... 3 staff members, a bartender, a waitress and probably an administrator. There was no one else. We walked in, no reaction to us...silence...Then we asked...Are you working? The answer came in about 5 seconds! The bartender started talking and said that we seemed to be working.... It sounded as if they had done us a favor and what the hell, we came!!! Moreover, it seemed to me that he was drunk... but I can’t say 100% sure. The waitress came to us with a big favor. As a result, there wasn't much on the menu. They took something to eat with THEY! And decided that even if it worked, they wouldn’t come again! Then we learned from the staff of this restaurant that it too will be closed for the season as of May 20, 2024! Again, we were very surprised...since we didn’t plan to cook anything in the cottage, but expected to eat in restaurants! There was no information about this on the website when we booked the cottage and we were not warned upon check-in! And they also didn’t warn that there was no entertainment or rentals! Almost all the staff with whom we spoke claimed that it was not the season and the upper park was preparing to move into the camp! If we had known in advance that this would happen, we definitely would not have booked! And in the morning at 08:40 05/20/2024, all of us living in the cottage heard a loud knock on the door and a voice from behind the door, OPEN THE DOOR, I NEED TO TALK TO YOU! I asked who you are? Answer: Security guard! It’s normal, this early, we came to rest, and then the GUARD KNOCKS! Nonsense! We have never seen anything like this! (I noted his arrival, so to speak, in the book of Reviews and Suggestions at the reception). I opened it and thought maybe something had happened. And he started talking rudely, saying he had a shift change and was unhappy that the car was parked incorrectly! In general, boor and lack of understanding, education and decency! And in general, it is not clear on what basis a security guard has the right to come and make a remark like that! This evening no one said anything to us! And they parked carefully. And it turns out it was actually a night watchman! And his name is Vladimir! Do you think it should work like that?! Is this a service?! More to come...We booked accommodation with breakfast (buffet). On the second day of our stay...breakfast was more or less...we were warmly (again an exception) greeted by a young man...porridge, hot sandwiches, pancakes, sausages, fruit, desserts...they even offered and cooked scrambled eggs...in in general, there was some choice... But we didn’t understand what happened the next day... It was 05/21/2024... the time was approximately 09:40... Breakfast time was from 9 to 11... no one he didn’t meet us or celebrate us as is customary (where do you live?)... when we entered the restaurant hall, we didn’t immediately see that there was NO buffet! I would add, there was no breakfast! From the word absolutely (I attach photos and videos)!!! We went to the reception to find out, What is this?! There was also surprise there... The administrator contacted the administrator of the Shishka restaurant... it turned out that she had suddenly arrived... We were told at the reception that we had to go talk to those responsible for breakfast... We had to go back to the restaurant again. ..although my opinion is that we should not run around and solve these issues....We paid for the accommodation, service and services! At the restaurant, the administrator Veronica reluctantly approached us... and instead of smoothing out the negative, she tried to say that the buffet was a la carte!!! That we needed to sit at the table and wait until they came up to us and we could order.... porridge separately... scrambled eggs separately, etc.. and all this depends on the number of people... i.e. in her words...it’s unlikely that you’ll get more than one sausage....This is the first time we’ve heard this, how much we go on vacation and when we order buffet breakfasts! In general, having received neither breakfast nor an apology, we decided to refuse breakfast for the remaining days. But they asked to feed the elderly. Grandparents refused to have breakfast, since the scrambled eggs that they brought were impossible to eat (I also attach a photo). It seemed to us that this was already mocking us. And the administrator of the restaurant "Shishka" Veronica never bothered to apologize, she never even said hello when she saw us! This is so “client-oriented”! An apology in the form of a loyalty card (for 3000) was provided to us by the administrator from the reception (Thank you, Svetlana). But again after three days. We ended up visiting the Bellagio restaurant at the Snezhny resort. And the staff there were very friendly and understanding. As for the accommodation itself and the cottage. It’s nice to walk around the territory of the upper park, but it’s very dusty and they don’t clean the area; they haven’t picked up the trash from the bin by the porch for several days. We booked a Premium cottage. The cottage itself is no longer Premium. Tired. Old shabby furniture. The tulle or curtains in the hall are "collective farm". On the first floor in the bedroom there is a transparent curtain. How can you sleep?! The screens were not the size of the windows and they were all torn, on the first floor and on the second! The mosquitoes attacked us like that (they fixed the problem of the nets quickly). There are cobwebs on the ceiling (it is not clear how the cottage was cleaned before moving in). The faucet in the kitchen leaked (they replaced it promptly). The lower part of the kitchen partition kept falling down (covering the lower part of the kitchen) (photo attached). The shower head in the shower is all scratched (there is a photo). In general, the overall impression of the cottage is DISGUSTING! They responded to us via WhatsApp for a long time. 2 hours later. You sit on the terrace or grill on the grill, and people pass by you... right next to you... looking at what you are doing and what you are eating... No comfortable! And at the entrance to the cottage, on the contrary, there is a large terrace that is not used. The furniture on the terrace is also very old and shabby...it’s not very pleasant to sit on it (I attach a photo). Considering that we booked the most expensive cottage during this period! And also from the minuses. Very late check-in (19:00) and check-out (16:00) (I understand that this is the time for vacationers in winter, but in the off-season, this time could be adjusted). Your grocery store "Eat Shop" has a small selection; you had to go to the store on the territory of the "Snezhny" resort. And again, it doesn’t matter to the sellers of your store whether they come in to buy or not. One day we went into the store a little before opening at 11:40 (opened at 12:00), the door was open, there was a young saleswoman, we wanted to buy just water, but they told us, no hello, but right away that the store opens at 12! Not that please wait, for example, the cash register will only open at 12 or something else... It’s just that they could sell water... It was hot outside! This is customer focus! It's little things like this that make up your mind. And you had plenty of such little things during our stay. And I understand what I’m talking about, I myself work in the service sector, and my family and I often go on vacation to Igora and Okhta Park. For comparison, in Okhta Park they serve Prosecco for breakfast. It turned out that we just rented an expensive house for living and walking. Then you need to position yourself as a rental of rooms and houses, without restaurants and entertainment. And the staff, apparently, are not interested in clients (apparently, they are on a salary and they are happy with it). Therefore, there was a negative impression. And most importantly, after I sent a review about our stay at the resort to the Golden Valley website, no one even responded or gave feedback! This is such customer focus!
P.s. On the day of departure, 05.25.2024, in the morning we asked through the administrator to bring us a key to open the toilet paper holder, the paper was stuck inside. But no one brought us anything! In general, I do not recommend this resort!

Wonderful location, well-groomed area for walking, lots of sports entertainment. The cottages are cozy and clean. We lived here in the winter, in the upper park, and in the summer in the lower park. Everywhere is comfortable and convenient. Breakfasts are my love! Tasty, beautiful, satisfying, varied.

We travel around the Leningrad region and Karelia very often, constantly looking for some new places where we can relax our soul and body, and taste all the delights of a comfortable life in nature. But somehow “Golden Valley” never caught our eye, maybe we were looking in the wrong place, or maybe we should work on advertising. A very cool place: a huge territory, a forest, a slope, a lake, a pond, we spent 2 days and couldn’t get around everything. During check-in and check-out, very nice girls told us everything, explained everything, and wished us a pleasant stay and a good trip. The room is clean, the bed is just a cloud. The terrace for two is quite spacious. The grill is right next to the house. Everything is very comfortable. It is clear that all the improvement is carried out by people who know and love their work. And if you take into account the reasonable prices, then in general your soul rejoices. Well done. Everything is fine. It’s clean, the area is beautiful, well-groomed and cleaned. It's a pity that the tennis tables are gone. I wanted to play so much! A little expensive in restaurants. We lived in a beautiful, bright two-story house with our family. Three bedrooms, a spacious kitchen-dining room, a sauna, a local area with a barbecue, next to the reception. Despite the weather, we had a wonderful rest, because... At this time, the rope park was already operational, which we visited with children (7 years old) 2 times during the holiday period and also visited the SPA area in the SPA hotel. In summer there will be a beautiful white sand beach, and you can also fish in the second lake. The territory is large. But we have studied the Lower Park so far, and there is also the Upper Park! Therefore, we will definitely come back and study it too)).

Second time in the Golden Valley, specifically at the Spa Hotel! Everything is wonderful, the breakfast is delicious, the staff is helpful, everything is clean and pleasant) no complaints, everything is super!
