We appreciated Claudia's hospitality and the very comfortable room! The bed was fantastic and we loved having the private bath in the Alcove Spa. Breakfast was delicious and the outdoor shower was a lot of fun.

Class reunion weekend and we treated ourselves to this lovely B&B. The bed was so comfortable, wonderful breakfast. Enjoyed just looking at all the things in the common rooms of the house. We wandered around the grounds with our first cup of coffee while our breakfast was cooking. Claudia is a most accommodating host and fun to chat with. We...

We visited last Saturday at the spur of the moment. We didn't have reservations until that morning, when I called Claudia at noon. She said all but one room was booked, so I immediately booked it. I had read a few reviews and scoped out their website the night before. Nowhere else in the area was offering homemade cookies and...

Some friends and I rented out the whole guest House so that was great having the house to ourselves. This place is nice and quaint. Claudia made us feel so welcomed and made the best breakfast for us. Some of the items I will replicate at home. The only complaint was I stayed in Room #1 which doesn't have an...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days during Spring Break'14, taking the train to Chicago daily. We found the place accidentally searching for b&b's and we are so glad we did:) Tranquility on steroids. This place is so quiet, so relaxing. Claudia, the innkeeper, made us feel right at home, she is an excellent hostess and really puts...

We stayed for 3 night, 4 days for our babymoon and absolutely fell in love with the place!! Not to mention our hostess was so sweet and an excellent cook. We would come back again---with our little one :) The B&B is surrounded by beautiful landscaping, simple and in tune with nature. We loved visiting the chicken and goats in...

We spent a cold and snowy midwestern week-end at the Tryon Farm Guest House B&B. It was a perfect midwinter get away. The Guest House is welcoming and beautiful, with lovely and inviting spaces. And the breakfasts were delicious as well as nutritious. We especially enjoyed the eggs from the hens next door. A special treat was the access to...

My husband and I received a gift certificate to stay at Tryon Farm B&B. We live about an hour from there and went hoping to get a bit of a getaway, we weren't sure how special it would feel, being so near home. It really was special though. Claudia, the innkeeper, made us feel right at home, she is an...

A great getaway for anyone looking for clean, quaint, and affordable! My favorite part of the TGFH was the outside shower. What a great experience. My twin girls, my bridesmaids, and my mother recently used the TGFH for my wedding. It was AMAZING!! It was so quaint, the breakfasts were FABULOUS, and the owner is very thoughtful, and helpful! The...

We were welcomed into this charming bed and breakfast with lemonade , an offer of cookies, and a pleasant conversation. The house is lovely, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and Claudia, the caretaker is just great! It was a nice place to stay and a good memory to look back on. M.L. “Room number 4 is closest to the road frontage. But also closest to the outdoor tub and shower. If road noise is a concern, close the windows and night and enjoy the A/C.”
