Our room was dirty with food stuck on the floor and stains on the sheets. Bathtub was not clean either. They were sold out so we could not get another room. I called the manager to talk to him and left a message but he...More
Visited there twice within 9 days ( 8/11 and 8/19). Room was a queen double with plenty space and modern touches!

Very Overpriced rooms and they now charge a "resort" fee. The Wifi security certificate is out of date and not valid so the wifi is horrible and I ended up using my 4G. Stayed there last night 8-17-17 and I thought I kept hearing things...More
Our stay was very nice. From the check-in all the way through the check-out(in room) everything went very smoothly.
Beds were comfy and the room was quiet and clean, what more do you need? I would recommend Hollywood Casino
I was in Lawrenceburg with friends and we stayed at the Hollywood casino. My room was $269.00 a night plus resort fees and it was definitely nothing to write home about. It was average at best and we were right next to a railroad track...More

The horseshoe that I've been to is in Cinci and doesn't have a hotel. I've been to grand Victoria in rising sun and it was a joke, will never go back. I don't remember ever having a bad time at the Hollywood Lawrenceburg and that goes all the way back to the days of waiting in line for 2 hours for the Argosy boat to return to dock. Since they built the Hollywood Casino and Hotel it has always been first class. I think they have suffered since ohio opened casinos and laid off people, closed tables, etc. No breakfast buffet with omelet chef early in the week anymore but still packed on weekends. If I can't make it to Vegas then I would pick Hollywood Lawrenceburg. (Or maybe IP in Biloxi, but that's a flight, not a 2 hour drive)
