We went for an overnight 'stay-cation'. Hilton and its subsidiaries never disappoint when it comes to quality of service. My family enjoyed a clean room with working amenities, the shower sliding door could use some work, but the shower itself was hot, clean, and worked! The suite had adequate space to accommodate us. Breakfast wasn't mind blowing like it's been at other Homewood Suites/Hilton brand hotels we've stayed in, but it was filling. Staff was very friendly and check in/check out process was simple. My only complaint was the chlorine concentration in the pool and hot tub being way too high. I would not recommend going to the area alone in case the concentration causes any adverse effect for you. Luckily they sold eye drops in the convenience store on site.
This is a great location for the Keystone area. We are frequent Hilton visitors. I was thrilled to see that there was a Homewood Suites in the area as we prefer to stay at a suites hotel when traveling with our children. The lobby is very nice and the staff is very helpful.
The rooms are in need of a major facelift!! The layout of the suites is very nice. We had to switch rooms bc the first room we checked into had a very strong cigarette smoke smell. Very unfortunate. Both rooms we saw needed at the very least a fresh coat of paint and new carpet. Unfortunately the great staff and excellent location doesn’t make up for the poor condition of the rooms. I expect better from Hilton. I cannot recommend this hotel.
It’s odd when your room smells like they are paving outside but outside smells fine. The entire night, all I kept smelling was tar and it was horrible!! The breakfast was minimal and definitely not as good as most Homewood suites I have stayed at. The worst was the hot tub though...water was borderline green and there was dirt all over the bottom. The staff was ok but not very friendly and workout facility was small but everything worked. They weren’t busy so I suspect a lot of our issues are a lack of attention to detail and lack of focus during the less busy season.
Hotel staff were friendly, accommodations were clean and parking was great. Pillows could have been more supportive, woke up with a stiff neck. Fan in the room was broken but hotel staff did adjust the room air conditioner to try to cool the room.
1. Upon check-in the night staff could not find baby linens for the baby crib... we had to fashion our own sheets out of what they could find.
2. Next day, house keeping didn't bring baby sheets.
3. Bath room door would not lock.
4. Bath room light switch was flaky due to a bad connection - lights turned off even though switch was on leaving the bathroom pitch black.
5. Garburator was clogged, sink was clogged, evening night staff had no maintenance personnel to unclog the sink.
6. Dishes provided in the room were dirty.
If this is a simple overnight stay, it'll suffice. The rooms in this property were in OK condition but starting to show their age. The bathroom shower stall doors could use a better cleaning around the edges ... lots of mildew. The hotel could use a makeover and pay more attention to the minor details like the bathroom lock, light switch, and sink.
Breakfast was fine, although basic compared to competitors. Parking was free and plentiful. Area is right by the highway, but there are also several major shopping centers and restaurants up the street. Downtown Indy is only 20 minutes away, and little traffic in the morning, making getting downtown to the Children's Museum easy.

There isn't a bar in the hotel, but they serve a free light dinner Mon - Thurs for a few hours in the evening. They offer a domestic beer and either red or white wine. You're generally limited to 2-3 drinks, but if the crowd is slim you can definitely get more. Cracker Barrel is walking distance across the parking lot, and the Tilted Kilt is directly across the road for food and a full bar. There are a few more restaurants within less than 5 mins. There's also a movie theater that serves food and alcohol within 5 mins as well.
