We had the opportunity to stay in this unique bed and breakfast for 3 nights, and will definitely be back. Hosts Richard and Ann Marie were such gracious hosts...friendly and warm. Together they designed and oversaw construction on this wonderful renovation - bringing the historic freight depot well beyond its original charm right on into fun and comfort. They made...

We stayed one night, and look forward to visiting again and staying longer. We stayed in the upper berth with our 8 year-old son...he was thrilled with the room and the loft area, and we loved it, too! Richard and Ann Marie were fantastic hosts, and we really enjoyed the little town of Chesterton. We will be sure to return!

We just got back from our second stay at Riley's Railhouse and enjoyed it very much. Richard & Ann Marie are wonderful host and excellent cooks, the French toast is delicious. The rooms are very comfortable and cozy. The B&B is in a renovated old train station. Trains do go by pretty often but you are provided earplugs if the...

My family of four spent one night at Riley's Railhouse in the middle of August. We were driving from Chicago to Grand Rapids, MI and I was having a hard time finding a decent hotel halfway. After I found it online and read all of the wonderful reviews, I was excited for our night at the Railhouse. We arrived around...

Not only are they fantastic hosts and great conversationalists, Richard and Ann Marie have curated an amazing space inside an old rail station. The attention to detail is incredible: your eye will always land on something interesting that is set in exactly the right place. The accommodations are very comfortable, and even though the trains pass right outside you can...

I found this bed & breakfast on Trip Advisor. I thought it might be worth it to try out because it was an old train station. I thought our kids would like that. I was wrong. They LOVED it, and it was probably the best part of our whole trip. The bed & breakfast is converted from an old train...

This place is absolutely one-of-a-kind. The owners, Richard and Ann Marie, are wonderful, welcoming people who made our family feel very comfortable. The two dogs, Chloe & Jackson, are good dogs. The old train depot is beautifully rebuilt with a lounge that's a great place to hang out and decorated with train memorabilia that takes days to explore thoroughly. Breakfasts,...

This is a very special place. Even if you are not into railroads and trains, this is where you want to stay in the Chesterton, Indiana area. Actually, there is not much traffic on the roads around Chesterton so it’s easy to get anywhere in Northern Indiana. The building and rooms are fun, clean, and tidy. Everything has a railroad...

This is our second stay here and we will most certainly return. My husband is a "train nut" and this is the only place to stay. Richard and Ann Marie are the perfect hosts and certainly make you feel welcome and part of their family. Can hardly wait until the caboose is finished but hope we can come back before...

My wife, my 18 month old, and I stayed there for one night and wished we planned to stay longer. The amenities are modern and comfortable, and the decorations are interesting enough to talk about for days. Rich and Ann were the perfect hosts. They took care of our every need and offered friendly conversation without being intrusive. It is...
