My husband and I love the Scholars Inn B&B. It is a treasure and good value. We love the Caleb Mills Suite. There is a fountain inside the room! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Snacks, coffee, tea, and water are always available!

This is a really lovely little restaurant in Bloomington. The food is excellent, but the servers can be a bit obnoxious if they feel you are not properly attired. Which is ridiculous in Bloomington, Indiana.

A lovely weekend with our gracious host, Keri, who was receptive to our every need. A lovely home with lovely owners. We visited and rented the home for graduation. A convenient and very comfortable base for our stay. One of the best stays in Bloomington by far.

This is an older property; the rooms are well appointed and have a historical feel to them, though there are modern amenities (e.g., wifi, television, phone). Owner was pleasant to deal with. Room came with certificate for breakfast/brunch one day at the nearby Bakehouse. We enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at Scholars Inn for the first time and I will definitely be back. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were plentiful! The room I had, the Henry Beacher Suite, was very nicely decorated but it was the only room that did not have an in-suite bath! It did have a private bath in the hall which...

If your standards demand super modern accommodations then the Scholars is not for you. If you like something that does not conform to the generally soulless experiences afforded by the modern motel, then you might be interested. This was the first leg of our Big Beer Adventure (East) from Chicago to the OBX and we were happy that Scholars is...

This was the second time I've stayed at Scholars Inn. The first time I had to leave so early in the morning that I did not get to have the breakfast, and always wondered what I missed. I missed a lot! On this visit, I invited two local guests to join me ($15 for each extra person), and we all...

Avoid this property. As a location and facility Scholar’s Inn is adequate. We stayed there several times. We will never be back. With regard to the handling of reservations and booking, you are taking high risk. Confirmed reservations may suddenly disappear. This was my experience. Confirmed reservations for a major milestone event for ourselves and another couple suddenly were no...

Very friendly staff, convenient location, and great brunch! Just an overnight stay to attend a wedding, but wish we could have stayed longer! Large, comfortable room, although without an en suite bathroom we had to use one down the hall that was dedicated to our room with a separate key. Since we were there over a Saturday night and they...

Don't let the grounds distract you. Although the grounds may look a bit unkempt, what's inside the B&B is worth it. Spent four days here, and the staff couldn't have been more hospitable! Welcoming and more than accommodating! I was made to feel right at home. This was my first B&B experience, and i think it spoiled me. I hope...
