My wife and I spent a month in the one-bedroom house at Pachamama and it was the best vaction of our lives. The house and grounds are fantastic--well maintained and ideally suited to the jungle surroundings (clean, cool, and comfortable)--but Bill's service puts Pachamama in a class by itself. We had him prepare many of our meals, because they are...

This was our 4th time at Pachamama but this is the 1st time I decided to write a review. Pachamama is the perfect place to stay when you want to get away from it all and be one with nature. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and filled with nature including howling monkeys. Not to mention the beautiful beaches of Punta...

We couldn't say enough for our experience staying with Bill & Cathy at Pachamama. Simply put, we loved it. We were looking for a special vacation spot and lots of people told us to stay on the Pacific side. I'm really glad we didn't. We stayed in the house for 8 nights and from the deck we saw 2 types...

We had a great stay at Pachamama. We stayed for several nights in the house and really enjoyed the area. The breakfasts were good and we dined in one night and had Pachamama's shrimp/chicken pasta--really good and very reasonably priced too. Bill and Kathy are great hosts. We would surely stay at Pachamama again if in the area.

We spent a full month at Pachamama, staying in the one bedroom house. The entire experience was beyond what we hoped for. The area is beautiful. Pachamama is a short walk (or kayak paddle) to one of the loveliest beaches around, Punta Uva. (We also recommend visiting Playa Chiquita, a short bike ride away, and taking a beach walk down...

It was camping, bring your bug spray! The owners were great. We stayed in a shared bungalow and would have preferred a private place, but our room came with breakfast and that was the BEST!! I walked to the big house for my pot of coffee and then Kathy would bring our breakfast to our porch. It was awesome. Pachamama...

This is the 4th time I have stayed at Pachamama and it just keeps getting better & better... I just cast say enough about the the place. Bill & the gang are the nicest and most helpful hosts I have come across in all my traveling. Punta Uva (grape point) beach is the best beach around. There are plenty of...

My husband and I had the most amazing vacation staying at Pachamama. We were greeted with such incredible hospitality from Bill and his family and were made to feel completely at home. The cabins are beautiful and rustic-you are truly out in the middle of the jungle. We woke up each morning to Holler and Spider Monkeys munching on the...

Two friends and I stayed in the small bungalow for four nights in May 2010. The setting couldn't be better--waking up to the jungle life (monkeys, birds, sloths) is priceless! Bill made us wonderful breakfasts every morning, and being able to borrow bikes (at no cost) to get up and down the road was very convenient. We also borrowed kayaks...

We loved our stay at Pachamama. Loved the house, Bill's breakfasts, kayaking the river and ocean, riding bikes to dinner and beach, beautiful jungle, wildlife, Punta Uva beach, etc. etc. We don't have anything negative to say. Just expect to be in the jungle. The house is nice but it isn't resort living. However, we would trade resort living for...
