Been here a few time before, always been high standard, this time however it was very average indeed, seated in a dark room facing a stone brick wall! Greasy starters , I could squeeze the grease out if I tried, roast dinner was ok , nice piece of chicken, the veg and pots were poor. Will probably swerve this place...

Very good and clean accomodation Made very welcome by the Staff - in particular we would like to thank Yvonne for her help with arranging transport for two of our number to travel to a local venue in the evening of our one night stay. Above and beyond the call of duty. Lovely lady. Excellent breakfast. Would recommend. This was...

A very friendly, welcoming old coaching inn with converted bedrooms across the courtyard. The rooms are not large but well appointed and the bed comfortable with good linen. The bathroom modern and good shower in the bath. A good meal served in the evening again with pleasant helpful staff. Breakfast menu was varied with plenty of choice and good quality...

We only stayed here one night, as we were passing through the area, but what a little gem , The bedrooms in the court yard were very clean, well set out and perfect for the stop over, But you really must try the food here absolutely lovely Well done to all at the Coach and Horses, I would definitely recommend...

We booked this venue for the night as we were attending a wedding nearby. I imagined that from there website it would be very up together as there was mention of new beds throughout. It had quite a motel feel about it as the rooms were outside in a stable block type place. Although the rooms were spacious the furniture...

We have eaten here often, and have yet to have a bad meal. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, and the slightly old fashioned comfort is good. My family joined us last weekend and were all very complimentary about the twisted old beams and the atmosphere. There are rooms attached and we hope the family will come and use...

I did not stay here but had an excellent lunch here. It was a Friday lunchtime in November but the restaurant was busy. Even for lunch it is probably advisable to book. The restaurant is made up of a series of of small rooms, which gives it a cosy feel. Between us we had the calves liver and lamb shank,...

We frequently meet friends here for lunch, and decided to stay with different friends in order to see Oxford for a few days. Lovely quiet rural location in comfortable rooms, excellent food and lovely breakfast. Also my husband is a real ale fan! It never lets us down and is well placed for the park and ride into Oxford.

Comfortable rooms arranged around the courtyard at the rear of the pub/restaurant with tables, umbrellas etc. Very quiet although I can imagine during the summer evenings it could be noisy but there is a notice to be aware of guests sleeping. Comfy bed, TV, tea/coffee etc. Good bathroom, great shower with plenty of hot water. Restaurant was excellent. Food during...
