Where do I begin? Let's start with some small details. The shower curtains had mold. There was a swastika carved into the sink. All of the soaps were opened already. The towels were brown-ish despite being obviously previously white. Let's just say the bathroom was so gross that I decided to just go without showering. The beds were uncomfortable and...

Absolutely DISGUSTING!!! There was hair all over the bathtub and the toilet!! The sheets were dirty under the comforter which looked like blood. It's like they didn't even clean the room from the prior guests!! No smoking room reeked of smoke and there was a big burn hole in the comforter. No one in my group showered there! When we...

This is a budget-minded place. It's not a chain. It's out of sight and sound of an interstate. It's in an interesting college town. Those are all good things. The bathroom and AC were newish. The decor is wood-paneled Dad's den circa 1983. Mom has sort of given up dusting but it's OK. There is a well kept city parklet...

My wife and I came to Ohio from South Carolina to see our Grandchildren and our kids. This is our vacation. I took two weeks from work off and drove here to this particular hotel because we have stayed here before. While it was not fantastic it was and is pet friendly and I have two dogs. On our 1st...

I would not recommend staying here. All in all, it was a very bad experience. First, the Internet did not work at all (although advertised). We stayed two nights and had no reliable connection at any time. Walked up to the reception and talked to the night-clerk about it. He was aware of the issue and told me that he...

The people who own and work here are inconsiderate and rude!!!! They lied about their "free" wi-fi!!! It didn't work, then transferred us to a room that someone was already IN!!! They would not refund us our money back and made our stay unbearable!!!! I would NEVER stay here again!!!!!!

If you require bourgeois digs with spare Scandinavian furnishings and free-range yogurt in the morning, perhaps you would be better served by a much more expensive place in Urbana-Champaign, but Lincoln Lodge is actually a well-maintained hotel that betrays its 1960's style, with wood paneling and faux pioneer furnishings in the lobby that are oddly stylish. The bed was fine,...
