We booked online due to the hotel's good reviews. I find the reviews highly inaccurate. Upon arrival, we were harassed due to using a discount with "Choice friends and family" The manager or owner, not sure, was upset that we paid much less for as he says a $100 room. The room was extremely outdated and tiny! It was supposed...

Got tired - could not make it to Des Moines, so I pulled off the road in nowhere. Amazed the quote was only $50, so I took a room. For that price, I didn't expect much - but was pleasantly surprised. I define "value" as what you get for what you paid and thus rate this high on value. Bed...

Dirty. Stains everywhere. Pool in dire need of cleaning, over-chlorinated. Vending machine snacks stale. Didn't try breakfast, just wanted to get out. On plus side, there's plenty of fast food nearby, and it is right off the highway.

We stayed there for two nights in mid October 2016,. The Lodge was was clean. We had a quick check in and check out. It less than a mile off on I-80. We would have no problems staying here again when we are in Princeton. .

We have visited the Princeton Econolodge previously. It is reasonably clean and well-maintained but we found a couple hitches. Another couple reported to the desk/manager that their air conditioner was not working. So when we found our unit had a broken control panel, and outside temp in 70's, I hauled open the sliding window. Next day I commented to d/m,...

I booked at this hotel as it was the only option available for this busy celebration weekend in Princeton. It was the only room left out of the hotels in Princeton. It was a smoking room that of course smelled awful and was very run down and dirty. They did fix the shower head that sprayed all over. They said...

This is a small hotel, there are no elevators, you have to walk up the stairs. So if you have a room on the second floor, you have to haul all your luggage up the stairs by yourself. If there's ever a problem for you, I suggest requesting a room on the ground floor. The room itself was exactly as...

Room was fine, very quiet. Management was friendly and helpful. CLose to I-80, and easy to get into and out of. Rooms were basic, but more than adequate. Had a really great night's sleep here. would stay here again

The motel has interior corridors which increase its safety and warmth during the cold winters. A breakfast is included. The front desk staff was friendly. There is adequate parking. Go about a mile to the south to the historic district of Princeton.

Not much to do or see in this little town. What must have been a nice Italian restaurant is now closed. Weeds - not herbs - surround it. The Econolodge is next to the expressway exit, quite convenient! However, the choice was between sleeping in a hot room or staying awake in an air conditioned room. The A/C was in...

“Find out garbage collection schedule before getting your room key and and then don't stay in one on the backside of the hotel close to the dumpster unless you need to wake up at 6:00am. Hotel has a couple of smoking rooms so if you are sensitive to the smell, find one not at that end of the hallway.”
