My husband and I along with our 2 year old daughter stayed for 2 nights in their family room while we visited Longleat's Chinese lantern festival. I booked 2 months before our visit. I booked the family room which consisted of a separate room (also can be used as a small sitting room) for our daughter. Linda (the owner) rang... More

Colin was the ultimate host when we arrived late night with a very tired baby and almost teenager. The cup of tea I had that night stands out as one of the best in my life because I felt so relaxed. Beautiful decor, extremely comfortable beds, spacious, immaculately clean and a beautiful garden to look out the windows onto. Breakfast... More

We stayed at The Old Rectory for 1 night in the Salisbury suite and it was great. We loved the fact that there were 2 rooms as it meant the kids were able to sleep undisturbed. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The hosts, Linda and Colin were extremely helpful and were great with the kids making us... More

The Old Rectory is a delightful B&B and Linda and Colin are wonderful hosts. They provide a wonderful breakfast, everything you could want, you will never go hungry. The room we stayed in was at the top of the house and sported a french colonial theme, everything was well looked after with plenty of room. Even though the Rectory in... More

I stayed here for one night, on quite a last minute booking, in July 2015. I was supposed to be camping down the road but couldn't face it after a delayed long-haul flight, so booked The Old Rectory online hoping for a good night's sleep before the remainder of my camping trip! The owners were very accommodating when I called... More

This is a lovely bed and breakfast, they have something very rare, a lovely, clean, comfortable family room. The two rooms share a lovely bathroom and they are furnished really nicely. Two tv's, one near each bed so no arguments. You also have board games for the kids and magazines for the adults. Wifi works well. Great breakfast. In spite... More
