Ellen has taken over and we had a number of stays previously with the last owners and she has not changed much, so it's a warm welcome. Comfortable rooms and good showers. WiFi good but a little poor in the bedroom but great around the rest of the house. We will be returning.

a very great place to stay. Our room was really big and so was the bathroom as well. With some caring details, everything is made with love, you can see and feel it. The breakfast was fabulous, with fresh and selfbaked bread and pancakes and applecake and.... Ellen was the best delighful host and we had a great stay there,...

Was met with a very warm welcome from the owner. Exceptional views of Loch Sunart. Ellen the owner makes all her own bread and is very helpful, cant do enough. Breakfast is amazing. Plenty of Ordanance Survey maps of the local area to read. Will certainly be back.

Found this gem of a b+b by accident after a long drive from Dundee to ardnamurchan point. The owner was very nice and showed us the room b4 us accepting. Also helped by putting my medication in the fridge and reminding me the next morning. The room was clean and tidy with lovely beds. Tea and coffee facilities room was...

What a great place to stay. Warm welcome and a very friendly and helpful host. It was a last minute decision to stay overnight, Ellen could not have been more helpful. We will definitely be going back. Lots of home made bread, cakes and a delicious breakfast.

Stayed here on a business trip was absolutely fantastic. Ellen is an exceptional host who can't do enough for you. The room I stayed in had an incredible vista, ensuite bathroom, comfortable bed and coffee/tea facilities (not that it was required). Ellen makes a mean tea, provides an exceptional breakfast and made me a huge pack lunch everyday including homemade...

Stayed here for one night and enjoyed it. Good location, lovely house, very friendly host. Had a twin room en-suite – very comfortable with tv and wifi, couldn’t ask for anything else. Delicious breakfast with great choice and fantastic home baked cake in addition to freshly prepared crepes. Wishing the new management all the best for the future.

We stayed in the holiday cottage attached to the hotel for a week and we had a really nice time. The cottage itself is right next to the hotel so it's not far to go for dinner (which we did one night). Ideally this is a 3.5 out of 5 as a few minor changes would make all the difference....

A place not to miss. The homely welcome from Nikki and her home baking and local information. Everything was so natural The situation was perfect. What a wonderful spot. Only drawback I was only able to stay one night. Next time maybe longer.Definately the place to stay if you are in Ardnamurchan.

Went into the big hotel in Salen but could not find anyone to ask about accommodation, so walked the short distance to Salen House B & B, what a lucky find. Very well furnished rooms, home baked cakes and coffee in our room. The most comfortable beds we slept in during our Scottish trip, lovely crisp sheets and firm, supportive...
