A very nice winery set on the top of a hill overlooking the Shawnee National Forest. A fun place to spend the afternoon with friends. The main building is modern, however it is styled to give you the feeling of Italy.

This was a beautiful little spot in southern Illinois. Secluded and quiet. Our host was Andy, very nice guy willing to take care of our needs. Charming suite, I recommend a stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Well this was more than we expected having been to numerous wineries. Would not expect this in this location. Wines are ok- enjoyed the port . Best is the service, atmosphere and outside venue. Derby day was good. Ladies in their hats. Our horse won- $15 off next purchase.

Went to Blue Sky after a day of hiking nearby. Sat outside...the tables outside are super cool, some type of art on them. The setting is so pretty. We sampled wine, and bought some, but decided to have cold local beer on the patio. One suggestion...we were there during the week and it seemed a bit understaffed. It took quite...

My son was married at this vineyard and we couldn't be happier with the venue. Beautiful setting and helpful employees made for a perfect June wedding. The roses were blooming and look spectacular in all the pictures.

No matter who I come here with, whether it's friends, family, or just the girlfriend this is always my favorite place. As a former SIU student I really wish I spent more weekends here throughout the years. Great food, wine, and atmosphere. Awesome view and the people are great.

We had the pleasure of visiting and spending the night at BSV. All the staff were friendly, the wines are amazing, and the suite we stayed in was magnificent. It has it's own balcony, and there is nothing like the feeling of sitting outside sipping coffee while the sun comes up over the vineyard. Cannot recommend enough!!

There's a place called Shawnee Canopy Tours - which is 3 hours of ziplining through trees and great for teenagers. So... what do parents do that don't want to suspend themselves on a cable above a gorge and sail through the air? What else? Go drink some wine. What was here? 1.) Enough to keep occupied for 3.5 hours 2.)...

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the grounds. The waterfall was very pretty. We had the bread with oil and cheese, which was so good along with some wine. There was a luau today and they had a catered pig roast so I couldn't speak for their food. We had a great time and we plan to go back.

As I write this in the Tuscany Romance Suite, I struggle to sit up straight, as my back is KILLING ME. The bed (which I now remember from last time.....wish I would have remembered sooner) is so hard. Even my wife is hurting. The couch (which we really didn't use, but......) is like an old quilt on top of some...
