Asked for a room where I could just roll-in my bicycle but I was given a room in a split-level building that had seven steps to walk down. Hallway smelled musty and of cigarette smoke even though this was supposed to be a non-smoking section. Very dirty and dusty air-conditioning unit. Heater element didn't work. Broken alarm clock-radio. Room does... More

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately the church that was paying for the room will only authorize a stay in our economy rooms which are located in the bi-level building and smoking is allowed in some of these rooms. The clerk also did not take the membership # because the church was paying by means of a direct bill account... More

Door keys not working right since card reader at front desk not transferring information to blank cards. Had to wake up attendant twice for this since could not get into room. Also, bathroom door knob was previously broken and a very large spider crawled out from under the bed. Dehumidifier was in the room but not working since bucket was... More

The locale and the environment isn't all that nice and the room wasn't that great either. The room barely had any lighting and the entire hotel area smelled rotten. I know its cheap but I have definitely stayed in cheaper hotels and motels that were nicer than this one.

While traveling for business in the Jacksonville area, I stopped at several hotels which were booked solid because of local events. I was given directions to the Knights Inn. This proved to be my lucky day because they had a few rooms available, staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were comparable to the high dollar rooms I'm used... More

When we booked this motel the night before on the internet we wondered what it would be like due to the low price. However it turned out that our concerns were not justified. The receptionist was very friendly and gave us considerable information on Local places to eat supper. The room was clean although the lighting was lacking a little... More

I stayed there for a few of months, the room was big, the beds were soft. You can tell the rooms have been remodeled, with new carpet, paint, new beds and flat screen t.v's. The continental breakfast is nice,(being a truck driver you don't always have time to stop and eat breakfast). The room had a microwave and a refrigerator,... More

My daughter and I travel a lot for softball. Usually the team gets a hotel that is $100 + a night. This year I decided to start looking around the areas we go to see if there are better deals. This was one. Only thirty minutes from the field we saved around $60 a night. The good thing was that... More

Our room was very clean and well prepared. My wife and I stayed in a recent newly remodeled room which was very largeand comfortable. We found the staff to be very warm and friendly( ask for Randy at the front desk, he seems to be dialed in to the local area). Excellent, enjoyable stay.

Had an enjoyable stay here at Knights Inn (formerly Blackhawk Village Inn) in Jacksonville. Recently acquired and renovated, the room and bathrooms were clean, beds comfortable, and the bedding and towel were clean and soft. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the lobby and breakfast areas clean and neat, and the free breakfast was very well stocked. Any reviews... More
