This hotel is the best that we have stayed at in Galesburg. The rooms are clean. The staff are friendly and always greeted us. The breakfast was very good. The food was fresh and bagels and muffins are individually wrapped. I think the rate is high for the area, but the hotel does perform to a high standard.

We have stayed in numerous Holiday Inns in various states and I don’t write reviews unless I think there is something to highlight about. This hotel is VERY CLEAN throughout. I could smell fresh cinnamon scrolls when I went in to the breakfast area. The food is so fresh and appetising. This is the first time I actually enjoyed a good breakfast. I usually have coffee and fruits only but I had hot food today. Thank you Kitchen Staff for taking the effort to provide an appetising breakfast (same options in other Holiday Inns - but this hotel - outstanding effort with presentation and cleanliness) Very friendly staff too!! Very happy with our room. Impressed with the customer service. The best IHG hotel I have stayed!

This is the second or third time we’ve stayed at this hotel and the standards continue to be high. The bed, pillows and comforter are comfortable. We really appreciate the variety of light sources, the desk and the reading chair. The bathroom is large enough to for two people to get ready simultaneously. The staff is very helpful. We will stay here again.

Room was clean with plenty of space for 5 people. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and well above what most hotels offer. Very happy with the room and it was great since we had been on the road driving for 9 hours.

Came in late on business. Easy to find off the interstate check in was fast. Room was cold, sitting at the desk working I could feel air coming in through the wall unit. I'm from the Midwest I can handle cold we keep our home at 68 but I had to keep this room at 75. Comforter on the bed was paper thin and there were no additional blankets. I'll pack my own next time. Wifi was great. Room was nice and big and clean. Was here for work and did not have breakfast or use the facilities. I would stay again and just pack slippers and a blanket. Very impressed with how clean the hotel was.

I couldn’t have been more pleased with this hotel. The cost was not prohibitive, the room was clean and done in a minimalist modern style. The staff was unfailingly friendly and flexible with me needing a late check out. Also, the breakfast food was very nice and the person working there (Claire, I believe) was very friendly and helpful. The fitness room had more than one would expect as well, with treadmills, a universal, and free weights. Would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed at several hotels over the past month and this one was by far the nicest. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable with nice pillows. Shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Loved that they have shampoo, conditioner and body soap in a dispenser vs those annoying little plastic tubes that wreak havoc on our environment. Numerous outlets around to charge phone (including USB ports). Nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room, along with a Keurig coffee maker. Front desk staff very helpful and allowed me to check in earlier than the normal checkin time (granted, this option might not always be available). The complimentary breakfast was very nice and well above what most hotels offer. Thank you for a lovely stay!❤️

Luke greeted us and mentioned we would have an upgraded room due to our status. He had only been at the Holiday Inn a week and asked Katie, the manager a question and she was very helpful. They were both very friendly. I asked if the pool was in service and Luke told me it was fine. We went to the pool and had a little difficulty opening door and Katie, opened it for us. The pool is lovely the temperature was very good. I loved the full size beach towels. They also provided pool noodles which was a nice feature. I am sure that families must love that with young children. I also saw a couple balls. The only downside was the clock had stopped working. There was no hot tub but that did not bother me. Katie gave me a sheet of paper with some suggestions for dinner and we ended up going to Applebee's. You fill out a breakfast request when you check in and they have different choices. I opted for a blueberry muffin and it was really very good. Chrystal was very efficient handing out requests. They had scrambled eggs that day. They also had yogurt etc: The room was very nice and storage and enough hanging space too. A nice work area and a very comfortable desk chair. The bathroom had a nice shower and good quality towels. The last time we were in Galesburg, this property was being built. We are glad we brought our own pillows. The pillows were a little too firm for my taste. I would suggest this to clients traveling to Illinois.…

The hotel is right off I-74 at Main Street. It's probably the best place to stay if visiting Knox College. It's closer than the hotels near the (former) Sandburg Mall. Unfortunately, there are a lot of dilapidated buildings along Main Street heading towards downtown, which are major eyesores. The breakfast buffet remains closed due to COVID. At my last stay in September, 2020, I filled out my order the night before from the limited menu, specified a pick up time, and it was ready. This time, I filled out the form, but they prepared the order when I came down in the morning. This avoids the potential of sleeping in as your breakfast gets cold, or waking up early and having to wait. Food items were typical of a Holiday Inn Express. Because of the continuing pandemic, not all items are available every day. Distancing barriers are still in place at the front desk. The front desk staff and the dining room staff were exceptional. There is ample parking, and the area is well lit. There is a supermarket across the street. There is a Taco Bell adjacent, a sit down Mexican restaurant across the street, and a McDonalds a mile or two away, in addition to easy access to other area restaurants.…

Stayed one night and it was great. Check in went smoothly and they followed covid protocol. Room was very clean and quiet. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was very good and they provided covid safety measures. We filled out a menu the night before and a wonderful lady filled a to go box of hot items and then gave us a bag of muffins/bagels. Check out went smoothly and it was very professional.
