We always enjoy staying at this BNB! Great service and atmosphere, very clean rooms and wonderful breakfast. Great location to walking to the shopping and restaurants. I found some cool Christmas gifts at Gabbys Gifts, which Susan reccomended. Will be staying again in January!

I stayed here with my wife for a weekend and we had a really great stay. The place is immaculate and the Christmas decor makes it feel like you're walking through a magazine. The breakfast was really delicious and something I could never make at home. It was nice meeting the othe

We sincerely regret that your stay was not what so many other guests have experienced. Yes, our parking is in the large lot directly across the two lane street from our front door. Some inns in the downtown historic district have parking challenges and parking on Main Street is limited. We consider our location within the historic district - one block from Main Street across from a large parking lot - a benefit and are sorry you did not agree. Our standard room is the most budget friendly and reflects the historic nature of our 152 year old inn while equipped with modern amenities, with 12 foot ceilings, a queen size bed, nightstands, lamps, 2 comfortable chairs in every room, a small dresser, flat screen TV, individual thermostat to control the central air or heat, ceiling fan & light, charging station alarm clock, private bath loaded with amenities - Gilchrist & Soames Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand made lemongrass soap, fluffy Turkish towels, bath mat, hair dryer, make up mirror, and ceiling vent. Our king standard rooms are larger and equally equipped. Our suites are 2 to 3 times the size with a king bed, fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, and separate sitting room in addition to all the standard amenities. Breakfast at Farmers Guest House has been voted Best in the U.S. and has been featured on television, newspaper, magazines and other media year after year. Each day Susan goes to great lengths to accommodate food allergies, restrictions and requests to present a stunning meal for all our guests. It is so unfortunate that you were not able to enjoy this part of your stay and we are, frankly, baffled by your review. We truly wish you would have expressed your dissatisfaction with our services during your stay so we could have addressed your disappointment and improved your experience. We invite you to reach out to us directly so we can fully understand how we fell short of your expectations and how we can exceed them on a future stay. Don & Susan

"We stayed in the Elizabeth which was in the back. Smaller but very comfortable."
"Rooms nearer the back of the building are probably quieter than the rooms in the front were we stayed."
"If you have mobility issues, ask for a room/suite downstairs, as there is no elevator."
"The BnB is on a main road, so it gets pretty noisy at night. I would recommend getting a room towards the back to avoid the noise."
"We chose a room that was very close to the garden, a lovely spot to sit and read. VERY quiet!"
