Beautiful secluded castle and spa. Bedrooms very spacious and comfortable. Food is fabulous and staff is very friendly, informative and professional. Spa is excellent but a little bit expensive. Swimming pool and use of Thermal Suite which was included in our package was brilliant. We had a lovely weekend even though the weather wasnt good but it didnt stop us...

We stayed in this castle hotel as part of a castle hotel tour. We were aware that this was not the best location for touring but had heard great reviews to decided to stay anyway and were planning to stay 2 nights. The castle itself is lovely. Some of the interior is still beautiful although much of it has been...

Very nice secluded castle, quite, spa was very nice, food was great and the staff was great also. Easy to find. The small towns around the area where nice to visit. a lot of great pubs. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing place to vacation. Only complaint was the wifi.

I have to say I expected more charm of the castle it self its very modern even some effort has been made to keep the rustic, old style. I was disappointed as I had heard so much about it. I wouldn't go there if you are after the old castle feel experience but over all lovely hotel. The room was...

Stayed here overnight. Very enjoyable time had. The venue is very well maintained. You know from the drive up, once you see the castle on the hill, that you're in for a grand experience. Room was very comfortable and spacious. We availed of the Thermal Suite facilities as part of the deal, all was satisfactory there. We reserved a place...

I chose this hotel to stay for a weekend to celebrate my birthday with 4 of my girlfriends and it was the best choice I made! The castle is simply stunning and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Everything about the stay was exquisite: the food, The service, the comfy rooms. Not to mention the spa was unreal and we...

The surroundings are amazing, spectacular in fact ! ... However getting back to why we visited in this occasion. My wife and I stopped off for...

My partner and myself had a lovely night away here recently. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in all parts of the hotel, including reception, concierge, bar, dining areas, and spa. Thermal suite is a luxurious addition, however the pool and associated steam room, jacuzzi, and sauna are romantic and relaxing if the budget is tight. Lovely peaceful woodland/lakeside...

We stayed here for the weekend in room 116. The room was just ok. I had been looking forward to going for ages and for some reason I had this idea of a sumptuous, sympathetically decorated castle and rooms but it wasn't to be unfortunately. The rooms could definitely do with an input from an interior decorator. We were in...
