We stayed here for New Year's Eve and were impressed. It's been years since we've been out for NYE and were a bit worried about noise. First, as Diamond members we were give a lovely room with a view of the buildings on the river and a small lake view. The room was spotless and well-appointed. The staff was welcoming, the bar had plenty of room and we got a good night's sleep because it was quiet. As we headed out for the evening the staff handed us wristbands so we could reenter smoothly after midnight. They also had a second layer of security to enter the elevator area. Looks like they are pros at NYE. The next morning we got coffees in the lounge and headed on our way. This is exactly the kind of well-managed hotel, when done right, that makes Hilton stand out as our go-to brand. Would stay again.…
Our Memorial Day Weekend stay at the Doubletree Magnificent Mile was nothing short of perfection! From the moment we checked in, Grace from the Front Desk made us feel welcomed and excited to be there. Special thanks to Kevin Stabile from the Front Office team who also assisted us with pre-arrival information and checked in during our stay via text- such a nice touch! The room was very clean and had a great view. Breakfast was great and our server was so nice and attentive. We also got drinks one day at the lobby bar and the entire staff were friendly and efficient. This hotel is in the perfect location- you can walk anywhere and there are also several bus stops near by. We did a ton of walking all weekend and coming back to the hotel to be greeted by warm chocolate chip cookies was the best feeling ever. I value service over everything and the service I experienced at this hotel was top notch! This property has an amazing team. I will choose the Doubletree Magnificent Mile every time I come back to Chicago!…
This hotel is my favorite hotel in the downtown Chicago area. The employees are very welcoming. It is very clean and organized. The room was outstanding. The parking and on site restaurant is a bonus! We will only stay here when we visit Chicago!
The hotel is very clean and quiet. My room was on the 15th floor and I can directly see the Willis tower, which was nice. They offered free water and welcome cookies. Plus, the bed was really comfy as well.
The one reason I came to leave a review is to say how amazing Shawna at the front desk was. Her service and hospitality made the stay so much better. She was very helpful and kind. If you’re staying here, look for Shawna at the front desk if you have any questions.
Outdated old run down hotel. Expect your toilet not working or running. Doors chipped and restroom door doesn’t shut or close properly . HVAC system is closed and we dimmed and breathed kitchen mornings grill and odors. If you have energy or any breathing issue you will face and live caught and sneeze and stuffy nasals . Hotel is not with the money your health. Differently unhealthy place to stay. FYI I am over 25 years hhonors Hilton member. This double tree hotel is the worst one I ever been in world wide . Customer service staff are polite and great But this place is dump and deteriorated. It should be a 1 star .
Sarah, Brenda and Kevin (front desk), Jose & Gustavo (Hothouse) went above and beyond when helping us during our stay. The hotel itself is located within walking distance from Millennium Park and other major attractions. It has been recently renovated which made our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely come back here again
This is a fine hotel with a friendly-efficient staff in every area. Well equipped fitness center, clean rooms and very nice lobby, snack & bar/restaurant. The location is perfect for my needs & there are other options. it’s the staff’s hospitality & the warm cookies that keeps me coming back.
5 stars! This is probably my 6th tines staying here in a 10 yr period. It is always a great experience. My favorite Chicago downtown hotel. Beds are the most comfortable. Room is always spotless. Front desk friendly and they have the best cookies! Always end up buying some to go.
Marcus(via text support) kept us comfortable the whole trip. He kept us at ease with text messages insuring our comfort, answered all of our questions regarding room charges. It was very nice to have that service available to us. Thank you!
