The Drake is beautiful! It is filled with so much history and so enjoyable. The rooms are your standard rooms nothing too crazy about them. I had a great check-in experience with Greg! He was super helpful. Great location! Will be back soon!

On a girls weekend to Chicago we enjoyed our stay at The Drake. It is a lovely old hotel that is still lovely, but in need of some TLC. The Christmas tree at the top of the stairs is gorgeous, but it wasn't fun lugging my own suitcase up those stairs. A bellman or someone to assist in bringing luggage...

The Drake hotel is a Chicago landmark. When I decided that I was going to visit my wife in Chicago, I didn't want to just stay in her boring apartment, I wanted this to be something special. The Drake was the only real choice. While a little on the pricy side, I really think it is worth every penny. Everywhere...

Perfect stay at the Drake for a family visit. Had three rooms for a week, one with daily breakfast plan. The location is perfect for getting anywhere North, South, Rush Street, or along the lakefront. Used the breakfast coupons at Lavazza Cafe instead of the hotel buffet. Freshly squeezed OJ, coffee/latte and pastry were better (and healthier) choice each day....

The hotel obviously over booked afternoon tea! Even with reservations, the wait was long and service poor. We ended up in a side room and did not experience carolers and the full Christmas tea experience. At $50 a person and reservations well in advance, we expected a once in a lifetime holiday memory. We have a memory, but it is...

Stayed with my teen when we came to town from Detroit area to see Hamilton and go to a surprise dinner party for a friend. Overall impression was good, but the bathroom floor was dusty in the corners, so I took off a star. There are also very few available outlets near the bed. They need to have lamps that...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel while on a trip to Chicago. Although it's not too modern, the service is exceptional. The hotel is closely located to a number of attractions. We would go back. Finding the actual hotel can be a little tricky, but it's well worth the stay

Stayed here for three nights before Thanksgiving. Really enjoyed the hotel with room 850, an executive suite. Great views of the lake from the living room. The bed was so comfortable. Bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was in the executive lounge, accessible from the 10th floor. A busy room but a nice continental selection. Afternoon drinks in the lounge were relaxing....

Always a treat to stay at the Drake. It's a classic hotel with wonderful views and dependable service. It could use a bit of an update but overall, well worth a stay for the old-world charm. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has not stayed here before.

My husband & I stayed here for 2 days before Thanksgiving. Took him for his first tea and it fell flat(other times were wonderful). Having been here many times for the tea I was let down. We had a disinterested server with slow service . They were more on top of their game when the room was packed during previous...
