This property is the perfect location for shopping and restaurants. Rooms and amenities are nice, though a bit dated. NoMi, for a hotel restaurant, is exceptional. Front desk staff, concierge services, bellman staff were all excellent

Frequent business traveller. To say this hotel is luxurious could not be further from the truth. I'd rather consider the Trump, Thompson or Peninsula. This hotel is not of Park Hyatt quality. The front staff were very pleasant!

    Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan
Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the
place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with
shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.
