Of the view. It looked like I was looking down into an alleyway where people had been killed. Outside of that it was great. The DC United was staying there for their game vs. the Chicago Fire so it has to be good, right? I didn't do much there besides sleep, but I did go to the restaurant in house,...

Hello! thanks for the 5 stars even though your view wasn't great! We do have lots of rooms with greaet views, but with most downtown properties, there are always some that aren't the best..... We hope you will visit us again soon and have dinner in Mercat a la Planxa! Thanks much, Kim Corrigan General Manager

We stayed for a few nights just to have a quick getaway. This is a charming property with all the modern amenities you would want in a historic hotel. The location is good for us - on Michigan but not too much into the shopping area that you are overwhelmed. The views of Grant Park, Buckingham Fountain and the lakeshore...

I stayed at the Blackstone for 1 night and it was wonderful. The room was spacious for a downtown room and very clean. The decor is modern and unique. The bed was extremely comfortable. I ate at the restaurant connected, Mercat, and it was delicious!!! Thanks Blckstone for a wonderful stay :) Nicole

I must begin with the bedding. I have never been in a more comfortable bed in my life, either away or at home. The mattress, pillows and sheets are superb! I really love this hotel, I stay at the Blackstone Renaissance whenever I am in Chicago. So much of Chicago is here at your fingertips with either a short (and...

Stayed here for business a couple of times. The rooms are simply the most pleasant I have been in lately. All details are great, the lighting options are especially great. Usually they light options are limited and overly bright. Many light options, and all have brightness sliders. Beds are comfortable, room service was even good. High quality hotel

We felt very welcome from the moment we stepped out of our cab, by the hotel doorman and the staff who took our luggage, a man named Rory was extremely pleasant and helpful. When we checked in, the woman behind the desk, tried to get us a room on the same floor as our friends, that was such a wonderful...

Valet parking area crowded at times (typical for downtown hotel). The lobby is nice but smallish considering the size of the hotel. The 4 elevators were efficient, room nicely appointed and comfortable. Upon arrival, the valet took our car but offered no bellman service, we had to pull our bags up 2 levels of stairs to enter the lobby (arrived...
