I loved staying at Urban Holiday Lofts. Room was really minimalistic and comfortable. I had everything I would need. Everything was quite clean and breakfast was pretty good. The staff was quite helpful, I would definitely stay there again if I visit Chicago or I can trust if I see the name in a different city.

This was a great to place to stay with my immediate family of 6 and my extended family of 16! The price was right, the location was very accessible to downtown and the community room gave us a nice place to hang out. One staff person was very friendly another wasn't, so that was a toss up. I would have...

Great location close by the station from o hair and into downtown. Cool atmosphere, nice people and a lot of possibilities to relax or cook you own meals. Mind that there are a lot of stairs and no elevator.

Fantastic hostel with nice facilities, very friendly and helpful staff and an overall relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast is very basic, but are there are many excellent breakfast opportunities in the neighborhood. Definitely recommended

Nice place, near CTA Station (Damen) in a good neiberhood. Definitly a good relation price & quality. The stuff ar nice baut they don´t speak anything but english. The breakfast is poor, only cafe and bread with creme or butter.

It's a good family hostel but I wouldn't recommend it as a youth hostel. Friends staff though. The breakfast was not so good. The rooms and the bathrooms were clean and near. Overall not a bad experience just not for young people because theres families with kids running around.

This is a very well run, very clean hostel. I got a private room, which was modern, tasteful and spotless. Also very tiny. Shared bathrooms were spotlessly clean and the common room was comfortable. It is right above Olivia's which is a great small store with anything you could need. Just down the block from the blue line and in...

Urban holiday hostel was located near the subway station. It was easy to find and the street was clean and bright at night. As I was the only one girl traveling alone, so it was important to walking safely at night. The enterance of the hostel was little bit embarrassed because of idal the passwords and high stars, but it...

Overall my stay was fine, but a large group who were staying at the same time were, shall we say, a bit overly exuberant. So: the place is fine, the rooms are fine, the neighborhood is nice, but be aware that it's a bit of the 'luck of the draw' on whether your fellow guests will be courteous or not.

I came with a friend for a concert about a mile away. This is conveniently located around the local area where chains restaurants and shops are very low scale, giving the authentic feel of the Chicago suburb. Urban Lofts was not only clean and well kept, but the staff and amenities were worth more than the price.
