This was our first stay here. The building was beautifu, built in 1929. The rooms were small but well appointed and the staff was friendly and helpful. Everything that we wanted to do was within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great place to stay.

This was a really impressive hotel for the price. The location is great, there were extra amenities, and I had a very large room. It's in the same building as club quarters. . I even had a kitchen I would stay here again!

We went for a quick get away Dec 6th through the 9th...The room was small..but it was clean..The staff were all friendly and very helpful..We did not have the best view seeing they were doing construction right outside our room...They worked all weekend...We were able to check in early for a 40.00 dollar charge...You could smell the food being cooked...

Booked through Expedia and room was pricey at almost $500 per night (big conference in town so no availability). Checked out a day early and neither myself nor Expedia agent were able to get the one night refunded. Expedia apologized and gave me a $200 credit at their own expense. Also be careful which side of the hotel you are...

Really i felt this hotel for its position in Chicago was exceptional value for money. True, I have most recently experienced European hotels where the concept of free coffee, complimentary water and great internet is still yet to be acknowledged (I live in europe so I can say this) but although there was no bathtub, I was still delighted with...

The River Hotel was exactly what we were looking for: excellent location, nice, and reasonably priced. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go comfortably. We went as far as Shedd Aquarium and back, to nearby Michigan Ave., and Sears Tower. The restaurant was delicious as well! Staff was excellent; very polite and willing to offer advice about...

This is literally in the heart of the city overlooking the river. You can walk to any place you would need or want. Check-in is done by kiosk so it's seamless. The beds aren't the best, but for the money and location, it's hard to beat. Room and hotel are very clean. If you park there it's about $45/night. They...

Our first stay here but would go back. Room was small but that's what we asked for and it was extremely well designed. Hey America, bigger is not always better. Close to Michigan Ave. and Wacker complex (French Consulate) and self parking was close and a great option. A classy place for the price.

Small hotel in a good location. Two bedroom suites are convenient when traveling with friends but it is really just a large room with two bedroom areas - no doors but semi private the way it is oriented. Furnishings are older, and certainly not a 5 star corporate type hotel but overall a good place. And the restaurant downstairs is...

The hotel is very nice, the service is extraordinary! Pedro was wonderfully helpful and friendly every single day. We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is great, so many things within walking distance. They have free wifi, which seems to be a bit unusual in Chicago, but the service was a little sketchy in our room (it's great in...
