I found Magnolia studios through TripAdvisor and was glad I did. The location is in a nice neighborhood with easy access to the Bryn Mawr red line stop but without the noise of the red line train. Plenty of good eats and local shops to get everything you want. This place is like a B&B but without the breakfast part....

I stayed at Magnolia Studios in Studio #2. It was such a nice getaway. I am a Chicago resident and chose Magnolia Studios for a quick weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday home life. It was truly wonderful to be in such a peaceful location but still so close to all of the action of Andersonville and...

This was my second time at Magnolia Studios. What a great place. Your studio will be tastefully furnished with a complete kitchen and a very quiet night time for sleeping. But at the same time, its minutes from Wrigley Field and downtown by the Red Line, or Lake Michigan on foot. Andersonville where its located , north of downtown, is...

We stayed in Studio 2 which is a lovely apartment with a queen size bed, modern bathroom and lots of modern conviniences (coffee pod machine, laptop, free wifi, communal washing maching and dryer). Information book and pamphlets were super helpful and gave us lots of ideas of things to do - we walked three blocks to the lake for a...

We sneaked back, courtesy of BA, for 5 days and this time stayed in Studio 1. Loved it! It's light, modern, airy, with wonderful fixtures and fittings and - a great view of the garden - through the balcony door which opens for beautiful sunny evenings - of which we had none! - that's a real bonus. Given the temperature at...

The studio was roomy and comfortable. Provided laptops were a nice extra and the shower was fantastic - although some of the extra jets were not working. The bed was big and comfortable and there was a good kitchen area. Kate was friendly but was not really around much - we had a nice chat when I checked out but...

Mea culpa, mea culpa. I had forgotten to write a report on our stay here back in September! What a great place in a nice neighbourhood with Bryn Marr L station 5 minutes walk away. Kate is delightful and I was pleased to sit down and have a beer with her one day. Looking forward to coming back in 2013.

This vacation rental has become my (and my husband's) home away from home ever since my daughter had her first baby last December. We stayed in the apartment for three weeks then, and found it more than spacious for our needs - including cooking Christmas meals for the kids! Since then I have stayed several times in the studio and...

a very friendly, warm, reasonably priced accommodation in Chicago. very close to a lively yet safe area with pubs, restaurants and shops (plus add the beach in summer). Kate is an exceptional landlady, while her husband is always willing to help and sort out the odd inconveniency. Definitely recommended. Close to the Tube: it takes roighly half an hour to...

Hubby & I attended a November wedding in Andersonville. The bridal couple had reserved hotel rooms 15 miles away. Upon looking for a closer option, the Magnolia apartment was ideal! It has a private bedroom, a cozy living area with pull-out sofa for my mother. She slept very comfortably in the glow of a fireplace. Loved the security measures, convenience...
