If you're considering the Four Seasons, then you likely already know about their reputation. Nothing new to add -- perfect service at its best and least pretentious. Patrick at reception deserves special recognition for his hospitality. Location of the building allows for unrivaled views of both the lake and skyline as well as access to finer boutique stores within walking...

We would definitely return to the Four Seasons on our next visit to Chicago. Michele & Kristen at the concierge desk were outstanding. Our breakfast server, Stacey was wonderful. Room service and servicing our room also good. Extremely pleased with our stay.

This review is catching up on several years worth of stays at FS Chicago. The valet is always the absolute kindest. The second floor lobby is stunning. The staff is above and beyond. They once upgraded my husband and I to a beyond gorgeous suite for no additional cost upon finding out that we were in town for medical reasons....

There is a function by a big coporate seminar BCG at the hotel and the only place where you can have comfortable lunch and drink are closed for the coporate meeting which is hardly used. Guests who traveled a long way during snowy day are asked to have lunch or coffee on the guest areas where there is no privacy...

Property is very nice but by no means the nicest luxury proeperty in town. I generally prefer the Peninsula or the Langham. Bathrooms are dated. Bedrooms lack some modern luxuries. No one n room coffee machines. Service and food in restaurant was just ok. No turn down service most nights.

So I have had the pleasure of staying at a lot of really good hotels, and while this hotel is beautiful like many others, the staff were consistently extraordinary. There were pleasant, efficient, helpful and appeared to uniformly have a positive attitude about their job. These characteristics included the staff in the restaurant, the spa, the front desk, cleaning staff,...

I stayed at the Four Seasons Chicago while on a family weekend in Chicago. Marion at the front desk was delightful helping us check in. In fact, everyone at the hotel was wonderful and the service was impeccable. Our room was a suite on the 17th floor. Everything in the room was comfortable and pretty. The suite had 2 double...

Prepare to be blown away! We were traveling with two children who absolutely delighted in every special surprise and goodie they showered them with. Every day we returned to a special treat or gift in our room. And the little child sized white plush robes that they went back and forth to the pool in were so over the top...

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighbourhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
