Wonderful hotel. Service is good. The staff are polite. Room and front lobby is amazing. Bed are comfortable, nice large tv, small refrigerator in room. We are in room 3017 with a beautiful view lake Michigan. The Palm is an impressive restaurant in the hotel.
My coworker and I are nurses currently assigned at McCormick Place on the Covid-19 unit. After a long shift we decided to stay downtown and not drive back to the suburbs. We called ahead to check in. Asked if we can get a room on a higher floor with a view, I did mention we're nurses. Upon walking into our room we were pleasantly surprised that they upgraded us to a gorgeous suite on the 31st floor. Very clean, huge, 2 bathroom suite with a view. Great service and friendly staff.
The 2 nights me and my s/o stayed there were really nice and very relaxing. I would def recommend it for couples or even just by yourself. And the view was so BEAUTIFUL, I’ll be booking again when I’m in Chicago.
Stayed here for 3 nights. It was clean and had a nice view but I was disappointed about extra charges . It does not say anywhere that you have to pay for coffee maker, fitness room and WiFi. Also the parking is $60 per night and it's hard to find a spot the car barely fit. I have stayed at many hotels and never had to pay this much for parking and things like coffee maker and fitness room etc. Also you have to pay a reservation fee. After all the hotel is much more expensive than you think.
Stayed here with my wife for 3 nights beginning the night of our wedding. The only positive of the room was the view from our Premier Corner King room. Other than that, was not impressed at all with the actual room itself. Seemed very outdated, and the closet was broken. Don't expect that type of stuff when staying at a hotel of that price point. Also, the garage was an absolute nightmare, and charging $60/day for it is a slap in the face. Literally the worst laid-out garage I've ever been in, and elevator doesn't even reach the lower floors of the garage. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were trash, and the temperature in the room was really strange - two thermostats but both sides of the room different temperatures even when set at the same number. Was cold even with both set at 80. Overall, probably would not recommend.…
