We stayed at this hotel in May and were disappointed when our showers only had cold water. After speaking to the manager, we decided to give it another try. I am pleased to report that our stay was excellent. The shower was awesome and the room very comfortable. The staff was helpful and the maid service prompt. Thank you for...

I've already confessed to being suspicious of boutique hotels, but I had an opportunity to see this one ahead of time before I booked, and its main attraction for me was its proximity to the urban college campuses in the South Loop: Hotel Blake is literally a couple of blocks away from my daughter's new dorm, so it was the...

I've stayed here a few times for business travel. This most recent trip I was greeted by a lovely man at the front desk named Dan. He was just so polite and friendly. We chatted a bit and he sent me up to my upgraded room. Any of the premium rooms are huge! The staff are more than willing to...

This hotel has it all....beautiful rooms, an amazing restaurant (Meli) and staff that is second to none. Of course, if you've stayed here, you know Showtime. He's pretty much the Mayor of the Loop. From the time that we arrived at the hotel to the time that we left, he was the man. Parking, dinner, things to do recommendations, look...

Got this room last minute (within 4 days of stay) on a Friday of Labor Day weekend. I was a tad nervous since it was the beginning of a long weekend, and there were many events happening in the city. And the rate was not too bad. (Got AAA rate). Pros: Location- We were in walking distance to Soldier Field,...

We found our two day stay at The Blake Hotel absolutely charming. Located in downtown Chicago it was convenient to anything we wanted to walk to or catch the "L" to. When we checked in, we met Dan at the front desk. He greeted us with a friendly smile and provided a good overview of the hotel's amenities and things...

Great place to stay, close to the loop if you're going to be travelling by public transit. Easy access to the blue and orange lines (that will take you to O'Hare and Midway respectively) Short walk from Millennium Park and the Art Institute. The Hotel staff was very friendly and very helpful. Rooms were clean and well kept.

We were warmly greeted by the doorman. The desk staff was friendly and helpful in directing us to the best way to get to US Cellular. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were very clean. The staff even held our bags for us while we attended a baseball game. Would definitely recommend.
