The staff here was AMAZING. Alexandra was super helpful. The beds are second to none. Only 4 blocks from the south line. Walking distance to art museum Buckingham Fountain, the shoreline. No view but for the price we couldn't have asked for better accommodations and Chicago.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 2 January 2017

From the outside the hotel looks like it is older and presumably not well maintained. Don't judge a book by its cover! The hotel is very nicely decorated and maintained. The rooms vary in size but mine was a nice size (my friend had a smaller room that was still well kept and clean). The bathroom was huge with a...

Chose this hotel for a two night stay while on business based on convenient location to client along with good reviews. Agree that it is a great find for the value. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the staff is helpful and attentive. The building can feel like it could use a little upgrade but, hey, you're in historic...

We only spent one night in a Chicago, but Hotel Blake was awesome. This hotel is within walking distance to anything you want. I got a good deal through Choice Priveledges. I will definitely be looking to go back to Hotel Blake when I'm in Chicago.

Joined a friend at this hotel as she had a time-share there--I booked a separate room. Hotel is an older building, small rooms, problems with heating, and more attention is needed toward cleaning details. A plus is its location near Art Institute and shopping on State Street. Cafe Meli downstairs is also a plus whereby they serve meals all day...

We chose to stay at this hotel again because we had such a nice experience several years ago. It turned out that it was easily within walking distance of the theater where "Hamilton" is playing which is what finalized our choice. The room was pleasant, clean and comfortable. The service was excellent. The restaurant which is attached to the hotel...

Friendly helpful staff and good location. We walked to State Street for shopping and to Garett's for popcorn. We took an $8 taxi ride to Joes seafood and stone crab claws and had a nice meal. It was insanely busy with wall-to-wall people so prepare to be patient but it was very good. Had a Moscow mule there but decided...

Had a great stay. Stay is extremely helpful. Quiet hotel with an excellent cafe attached and walking distance to many great attractions such as the aquarium, planetarium, Field museum, many theatres, and excellent restaurants.

Spent a week at Hotel Blake in early April, would have no problem returning to the property or recommending it to anyone. The rooms were clean and neat, staff was extremely accommodating (the bellmen were all awesome!), and the location is great. Less than a 5 minute walk to all the subways and EL trains, lots of eating options nearby.

Took Blue Line from ORD to within 1 block of hotel. Quick check in and out. Professional staff. Easy train ride up to Northwestern also for football game. Can walk to Millennium Park. Stayed in standard hotel room through an RCI timeshare exchange. Clean room with high ceilings. Quality toiletries. Furnishings were somewhat dated. Drape was missing one of the...
