The King suite is really comfortable. We tried to get room service dinner, but it was terrible - horribly cooked food that would never be sent out from the kitchen in a restaurant. Plus I got sick (bathroom problems if you see what I mean) from it. Also they had to come back to us 3 more times as there... More

OMG...been to Chicago and this area numerous times. How did we not discover this gem sooner. We stayed in a King Suite...spacious, comfortable and luxurious. This place is the perfect stay with family, on business or for that romantic getaway. Sorry for the poor pix, but forgot to take then right away. BTW...the shampoo and other bath liquids provided are... More

I really enjoyed the stay at the Fairmont Chicago, and had in all a great experience. The sales conference took place in the hotel and we stayed during 3 days. I would recommend the stay in this hotel to anyone who can afford the price, as it is a very good experience

Large Room, quirky layout. Plenty of outlets by bedside and desk for chargers. Fire Station a block away, but I think Chicago FD minimizes siren use late at night so it didn’t interrupt sleep. Staff was very nice and helpful- when it rained, front desk loaned us umbrellas. Housekeeping did fine job. Room safe was large enough for 15” MacBook.... More

I loved my stay in this amazing hotel with an incredible view. Well situated. His staff is really nice. I enjoyed my two nights there. Even if information about internet wifi are bad. We thought we have to pay but the ultimate day we see that its free. So we didnt use Internet at all

We stayed one night in a one-bedroom, lake view suite. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed the view of the fireworks over the lake. It was a quick walk to Cloud Gate and there was a CVS across the street. Bar service was hit or miss, but room service breakfast was prompt and delicious. There were a... More

The Fairmont was a great venue for a recent conference I attended. The meeting rooms were well suited for our program. No glitches, as I have experienced at other venues. The room was spacious and comfortable. Located close to the river, it was easy to walk to restaurants.

Hotel was clean, and service was good. It is just not up to par with other Fairmont hotels I have stayed at in the past. Nothing "wrong" with the property, just dated and could use some renovating. Location is good for the park, museums and soldier field. Short walk to Navy Pier and Michigan Ave as well. Not a bad... More

Needed a hotel near the Loop for a quick trip to Chicago to conduct some family business. Settled on the Fairmont due to location. Rate was high, even thru Expedia. Location was tough to find using Google maps turn by turn. Check-in was efficient, got upgraded to a suite. Unnecessary but nice. On site restaurant was fine. Got to the... More

Large conference hotel; spacious lobby and rooms. Mediocre restaurant. No coffee maker in room or coffee shop in lobby. No hotel services directory in room. No television station guide in room. Throughout the property, minor maintenance is needed (see photos) - nothing troublesome, but disappointing. Staff were friendly although no one seemed to be at the front desk on the... More
