We were very disappointed with this hotel stay. With our family, the Shedd Aquarium Package and Field museum package sounded perfect. However, I had to spend literally 45 minutes in line three different times, trying to get the tickets that were promised. The staff was very polite, but things seem to be managed very poorly. There was always a large...

I stayed at the Palmer House Hilton as it was a recommended hotel by the Auditorium Theater. The hotel was excellent, the lobby is opulent and beautiful. Hotel staff was nothing but polite and accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable, and very well-appointed. In fact, I wished I had reserved two nights instead of one! I would stay here again,...

Have been staying every christmas for 30 years. Some years service was up to the standards expected. Not being able to get rooms together for an extended family with small children. Having parking issues. But our last stay 2014 was very good. Had rooms that fit our families experience to be together. Great location.

For an upscale hotel, we had two very unpleasant experiences in our room, which I believe is a housekeeping issue. 1) someone had previously used the shower curtain to wipe themselves; excrement was visible and smelly on the curtain; and 2) pleasure items were in a box sticking out from under the bed. #1 was discovered the morning after arriving...

We spent a wonderful Dec weekend at The Palmer House & could not have been happier. The Holiday decorations were perfect & helped to get us in the spirit. Just a BEAUTIFUL hotel. Drinks are a bit pricey, but, it's Chicago. ;)

This was the most wonderful trip of my life...I live in Sarasota and have volunteered at Christmastime at Historic Spanish Point, formerly past of Bertha Potter Palmer's Florida estate here on the Suncoast, so my son thoughtfully reserved my stay at Palmer House for me. It was beyond a dream come true and I will return there whenever I return...

We stayed on the executive floor. The staff throughout the building was excellent, pleasant , and helpful. We only had one complaint the bathrooms could be larger. The pool needed a cleaning or an update. But next time we are in Chicago we will definetly stay here again

I stayed for one night with my friend, the room was awesome, bestir than I expected! My only complaint is that wifi was not included with the room and the t.v. did not have as many free channels as I would have liked.

Absolutely beautiful historical hotel - a rare find - and the hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. "If only the walls could talk" was my thought as I walked through these beautiful ballrooms and hallways admiring the fulfillment of Mr. Palmer's dream and the history that has taken place on this location since that time. Shopping and museums are...

The Palmer house was very nice and historic The only problem we had was that the train ran all day and night right outside our room. Woke me up all night. Also I really think they need to add a couple more restraunts
