I have been wanting to stay at this property since the 90's renovations turned the historic Reliance Building into an absolute beauty effectively protecting the heritage of Chicago. This hotel is one of my top three in Chicago. The rooms are stunning and right sized, with exceptionally high ceilings and windows to match. There probably isn't a bad room in...

Not Kimpton or even the Burnham any longer. Called to make reservations for the coming year and was told about the change. They have done away with the 5:00 complimentary wine and free internet for Karma members. Also checked the rates and was at least 25-40% higher than the remaining Kimpton hotels in town. Have stayed there at least 6...

This property has a great location. Close to it all and right next to Block 37 and all of the cities hot spots. First the staff was fantastic. I parked at block 37 which is across the street. Parking was $42 a night which is much cheaper than what the hotel charges. the room was small, and boutique like which...

Stayed here over thanksgiving weekend and it is a great location. Across from Macy's on State Street, and a couple blocks to Millenium park. Our room had a decent view of State Street. The room and bathroom itself was smaller than I like and the hotel felt dark. It's a very small boutique hotel in an old building. Beds were...

This is a very nice hotel. Rooms are clean and well provisioned. We had a corner suite with a great view. However our stay was marred by the constant drumming of the "bucket boys" on the corner outside our room. Impossible to rest and we were on the tenth floor. In my opinion this is a public nuisance. I will...

Chicago is a walkable city and a great place to commute. This is the best hotel choice in downtown if you are looking for one where the train and bus stops is just a block away. Nothing but great things to say about this hotel. Staff was very friendly, allowed for an early check-in. The historic building is in a great location, and the entire hotel has a very unique/classic feel. The restaurant Atwood has a great bar, with great happy hour specials and very friendly bartenders.
